pains in early pregnancy question11 Sep 2003 14:54 GMT5
Ok, I've read that some mild cramping is normal in early pregnancy due to
the uterus growing and changing position.  I've also read that if the pain
is on one side it could be and ectopic pregnancy.  I have some mild cramping
and it is mostly on one side.  The pain comes and goes, ...

I can now finally announce that I am here fully legally!
I vividly recall reading pg announcements with a twinge of
jealousy, but after trying for 6 months we have succeeded!
It hit me completely by surprise, as I started spotting as
Belly shapes11 Sep 2003 09:07 GMT6
Walking from the car park to work this morning, Bloke looked me up and down
and grinned widely. I looked down and smiled and said, "I look like I've
shoved a ball up my jumper, don't I!". "You'll be done for
pumpkin-smuggling," he replied. I shall grin all day, now!

37 week update11 Sep 2003 08:38 GMT4
I had my 37 week appointment yesterday at 37w2d. This appointment was
slightly "off" of my normal appointment schedule because it was with the
nurse-midwife at the birth center instead of with the doctor. The doctor
wanted me to make sure to have an appointment with the midwife, ...

*Probably pregnancy loss is mentioned in this post*
I just found out some sad news through a friend; a mutual friend of ours is
18 weeks pregnant, and just went in for her ultrasounds.  They discovered
that she is pregnant with conjoined twins, and that they are sharing one set

Ethics of sex selection.10 Sep 2003 22:15 GMT1
It looks like there are several scientific methods for sex selection
now.  From the absolute method of embryo selection to the pretty-good
method of sperm sorting (microsort).  From what I read, there is no
regulation of these practices.  Ethically, it sounds like they are
living without a baby...rant, long10 Sep 2003 20:55 GMT10
I have a history of drug use. I should say I had a history. It was over 5
years ago, the last time I used drugs was March 9th 1998. Here I sit with a
drug test that is positive for cocaine. A test I volunteered to do. It was a
hair strand test going back 6 months. I did the test for ...

I had my last period.  August came and went with no period, but I had, and
still have, pains every so often that seems like it ...
