38w 4d update08 Sep 2003 04:39 GMT4
Well, today I had one of those boring appointments again. I did get to
to inform my caregiver that my body is finally telling me to slow down a
little, but I'm still getting around just fine and feeling swell in general.
Blood pressure was 124/72 and weight gain seems to have ...
32 week update08 Sep 2003 04:38 GMT3
Okay, so most of this pertains to yesterday, when I was 31+6, but it's as
near-as-damnit!
Antenatal appointment with the local community midwife, at my GP's surgery.
Urine dipped and was completely fine. BP 111/76 - nothing to complain about
Sugar is fine, but now he might be breech08 Sep 2003 04:38 GMT5
I had another appointment yesterday and the good news is that after
watching my sugar for a week, my urine looked good.  He still wants me
to take it easy on the sweets, but since I've gained 3 pounds in a
week without them, I should probably do that anyway.
Baby moving08 Sep 2003 04:38 GMT6
Hello all...
I am almost 22 weeks pregnant.  I have been able to feel the baby move
on and off since about 11 weeks.  These days, I feel him more about
1-2 times a day... sometimes more.
39 week appt08 Sep 2003 04:38 GMT2
Another Sept Mom checking in....I have hopefully had my last appt for this
pregnancy!  2 more days until my due date, which I know does not mean much, but
considering Sophie came a little early I am hoping I don't have to go too late
with this one.
Handling miscarriage naturally (long)08 Sep 2003 02:46 GMT14
As I explained in another thread, I have miscarried again :(
Since it is much earlier this time (last time was around 12 weeks, D&C was
strongly rec'd by my midwife) I have been given options for dealing with it.
Miscarrying naturally, D&C, or Misoprostol (cyotec).

Actor/rapper/model Mark Wahlberg and Revlon model Rhea Durham had a baby
girl, Ella Rae, on Tuesday.  No other details available yet.
new babies,  old families, and lurkers07 Sep 2003 20:26 GMT10
So here's the new addition to the due-date check in!  I was flipping
through my Sears pregnancy book to write all the questions, and it
includes the chapter: "The Tenth Month - postpartum."  Postpartum is
definitely a part of pregnancy, so here you go:

I was on the contraceptive injection till last October 2002 and I have not had a period since, now I am aware this injection causes infertility for a while, but any idea how long.

Whatever happened to....07 Sep 2003 01:12 GMT6
Meghan - she had a son Killian, wanted a VBAC but had another c-section with
her daughter?
Amanda (I think her screen name was A Green).  I think she had an Elijah
then a girl (or maybe another boy - I remember threads about more E names)?
Number of kids -- 2 vs. 3?06 Sep 2003 21:54 GMT53
I'm only 4.5 mos. postpartum but I can't stop thinking about whether we're
done with making babies!  Every time Quinn leaves something behind, I get
misty-eyed about it.  No more gummy grins, no more coos, no more
swaddling, all the newborn clothing is packed away now, etc., etc. ...
Stupid Induction Story06 Sep 2003 21:13 GMT1
On the front of the "Local" section in today's paper.
Female paramedic resuscitates OB who had a heart attack
jogging in the park.  A year or so later, she gets pregnant,
immediately thinks of the OB.

I am due either tommorrow or on Tuesday, depending on either the doc or the
ultrasound dating.  Either way, EDD is creeping up on me pretty quickly.
Since yesterday morning, I have had mild to moderately strong menstral type
cramps.  I had an internal exam yesterday and just ...
