Is my wife pregnant?06 Sep 2003 09:00 GMT3
Really need some advice. I'm 38 and my wife is 42. We've been trying for a
baby for 10 months. We've had a few near misses, but nothing so far (strange
stomach feelings, back ache etc. a few days before her period). Period then
comes on time, although they have been lighter than ...

Feeling kind of bummed right now.  Dr. called and said my initial number was 95
and then after I drank the glucose solution my first hour was 225 (should have
been 180), second hour was 202 (should have been 155) and third hour was 158
(should have been 140).  I've gained eleven ...
Update on Alison05 Sep 2003 21:04 GMT7
She emailed me yesterday -- said she'd written back to me but it must have
gotten lost in space.  She said to say hi to everyone here, and she has great
news about her son -- after being seen by a specialist and attending a special
ed school this year, it's been determined that he's ...
Bad News05 Sep 2003 18:40 GMT20
It comes as no surprise, but I have miscarried again. This makes twice in
nine months. :( At least it was earlier this time. As I predicted, my OB
thought that it looked around 5/6 weeks. I would have been 9w3d today. I've
known in my gut for three weeks that something was wrong.

"The idea that morning sickness is a psychological problem is in the minds of the researchers,
rather than in the minds of women."

I'm 38w 1d, and I've had a headache since last night, and I'm a little
nauseous. I had all sorts of headaches in the first half of the pregnancy,
but none lately. I've had a *lot* of swelling in my feet and ankles, but at
my last OB visit the day before yesterday, my BP and urine ...

I am so happy tonight I had my first scoop of ice cream in more than 2

Any advice please05 Sep 2003 11:20 GMT3
We are the proud first time parents of a 5 week old baby boy, who is breast
fed.  Normally, he is a very good eater and sleeper, but we have noticed
that when we go out anywhere, including friends/family, he will not feed
properly, he will only suckle for about 10 minutes, then drop ...
