Since I don't go to the doctor for 2 more weeks, is it okay to keep taking
my regular multi-vitamin?
Should buy a buy a bottle of OTC ones or, call my doc to see if I can get a
Rx now?
Spotting-what a scare!17 Oct 2003 20:36 GMT13
I started spotting on monday(even as I was posting a response to Ilse's
post). It was red in the beginning and later by tuesday turned brown. I
called the doc on tuesday and he brought me in right away. The clinician
picked up the heart beat even with a Doppler! I cannot explain ...
Bromocriptine Question17 Oct 2003 18:20 GMT15
I didn't get very much chance to participate here but hope you will have
some information about Parlodel, or the generic drug bromocriptine.
I lost my twins last Friday, at the end of my 20th week. We are heartbroken,
but also confused about the aftermath. My doctor prescribed ...

1st trimester - can people really sense when someone is pregnant? help!17 Oct 2003 11:04 GMT41
None of the manuals, books or poeple I have spoke to have said
anything about the fact it seems apparently easy to tell if a woman is
pregnant as early as 6 weeks just by looking at her or by sensing it.
I had intended on keeping my pregnancy a secret until the end of the

Cot/crib bedding questions16 Oct 2003 23:17 GMT10
Here's my next set of anxious-first-time-mother questions which you always
answer so well :-)
I think I remember people talking about making up a cot(UK)/crib(US) with
something - e.g. prefolds? - under the bottom sheet to avoid leakages
Blecch, I am still experiencing morning sickness..16 Oct 2003 21:09 GMT5
When WILL this go away. I used to be just queasy all the time. Now I am
actually throwing up a lot. I am managing to keep a good amount of liquids
down but my weight is back down too.
I have been able to eat vegetable soup every day for the past week. Today I
18 (20) week US16 Oct 2003 20:42 GMT2
We had our 18 week ultrasound today.  It looks like we are actually
about 2 weeks ahead of that.  The doctor said she is probably around
20w5d.  Moved our date up to 2-29(from 3-14).  I kind of liked 3-14,
but I guess a leap baby has it's own mystique.
Wife's bump goes hard and soft? Any info!?16 Oct 2003 20:32 GMT12
I'm an avid reader of this newsgroup but don'tpost very often.
My wife is 16 wks 2 days and her bump seems to be hard (most of the time)
but after things like eating it will go soft for about 20 minutes and back
again! I thought it would be one or the other.
Sleeping position question16 Oct 2003 20:06 GMT7
How long is it safe for me to sleep on my stomach? I try to sleep on my side
but sometimes find that I wake up on my stomach (I am 9 weeks). I know it
won't happen when I start to show, but I am wondering if it is ok to be
sleeping on my stomach now?
Driving - any need to stop?16 Oct 2003 19:42 GMT22
Did any of you feel the need to stop driving towards the end of your
pregnancies? I'm 32 weeks now and feeling fine. My husband *hates*
driving but does not want to pressure me into doing all the driving
(no long distance necessary, all local driving) - I'm telling him that
Brown Mucus16 Oct 2003 19:04 GMT4
I'm 10 weeks pregnant and today after using the restroom  have noticed
a brown thin mucus.  Should i be concerned?  Is this normal?  Should I
go to the hospital now?  I don't want to go if this is most likely
nothing.  If it persists throughout today and tomorrow I will go but I
