Edgware Birth Centre (London)11 Oct 2003 10:44 GMT1

(North London)?
I am keen to have a more natural birth with little intervention.
I would be interested in hearing from people who had their baby there.

Follow up to Help Bleeding post10 Oct 2003 23:42 GMT5
Luckily my GP has office hours on Fri morning so I went in to see him.
My husband had taken the day off for the wedding we were supposed to
attend and I'm always off on Fridays so we zipped over there in the car.
The doctor felt around my stomach and then used some device to ...

Well, another regular ob/gyn appt after having bloody show yesterday...
Urine = fine, some blood from the bloody show/mucus (this is still going on,
and my ob/gyn told me it might continue - the same pinkish discharge
streaked with blood on occasion)

Doulas10 Oct 2003 21:51 GMT3
DH and I are looking into hiring a Doula to be there with us for the birth
and for a while after.  Basically the way the care system seems to work
(Guys and St Thomas') is that we are seen by a community midwife team but
they are not there at the hospital so at the birth we will be ...

I get the idea that Im one of the younger ones here, so maybe no one else
cares :) BUT! I cannot make myself spend a zillion (meaning 40) dollars on a
nursing shirt. I just CANNOT. I even looked at patterns to sew and that
didnt seem fun either. SO..... In the interest of being ...

I have a question, maybe some of you have experienced this.  I usually have
normal periods, they come every 30 days like clockwork and last 6.5 days.
Last time, which was the first of september, I started on time, but I bled
for 12 days.  I called the health department, where I get ...
Help! bleeding (somewhat graphic)10 Oct 2003 19:35 GMT7
I've had a really long day at work that included lots of walking,
especially up and down stairs.  I've just started my 2nd trimester and
when I got home this evening and changed my clothes I saw that I had
bled during the latter part of the day.  I do remember sitting on the
Strangely missed period but unfortunately not pregnant10 Oct 2003 19:32 GMT2
After trying to get pregnant this last month, and waiting more than

Name Site10 Oct 2003 18:40 GMT15
Hello all...
I was looking for websites with baby names.  I came across a very
interesting site.  It is actually a genealogy site.  It has a list of
names and nicknames for those names.
Still Pregnant ; Me too10 Oct 2003 18:17 GMT2
