Hello all... I read in a couple of birth stories about how the doctor or midwife stretched the cervix. My first reaction is "OW!" But I have never heard of this before.

I think I have figured out what may be contributing (not necessarily causing) my panic attacks. I am about 8-9 weeks along now- my first official appointment after the initial workup is Monday. I will know exactly how far along for sure then.

Well, I had an excellent pregnancy, a wonderful birth, and have a sweet contented newborn! It appears that recovery from the birth is going to be the hard *thing* I have to do and I feel a bit whiny about it to be honest
