interesting news report15 Nov 2003 08:24 GMT23
I heard on the radio this morning that it has been recommended that
c-sections for non medical reasons no longer be allowed. Only problem is I
can't find any news articles that back this up, maybe I dreamt it! I'm not
sure whether it was a general recommendation or one for the NHS, ...
appropriate weight gain15 Nov 2003 03:19 GMT37
My doctor doesn't seem to be concerned that I've only gained one pound
since my first visit last August, but I certainly am.  While I started
out above my ideal weight by nearly 50 pounds, I'd read that the baby
gets its nutrition from the food I eat and not from my stores of fat.

Cravings Question15 Nov 2003 00:00 GMT9
I seem to be going mad with Cravings for Almonds. Do you know if eating
these excessively will harm my baby? I haven't been eating peanuts although
as far as I'm aware there is no nut allergy in our family. I seem to eat a
pack of almonds a day!

version and vbac?14 Nov 2003 23:51 GMT8
So my impression was wrong, and the baby is still breech, now at 37
weeks. My dr talked to me about the possibilty of doing a version and gave
me the # of the high-risk dr at the hospital to call for a consultation.
He said that a previous section was a contra-indication, but if I ...

Info Request Please:  Support Hose14 Nov 2003 19:43 GMT4
I had a routine prenatal yesterday.  While there I mentioned to my
doctor about how my calves and feet were really restless at night and
causing me to have trouble falling asleep (takes me about 1-2 hours).
He suggested I try support hose.  He said get the cheaper kind first and
question about c sect/vbac circumstance14 Nov 2003 17:08 GMT13
Not pertinent to me personally, but just curious about a situation with
which I am somewhat familiar. If the mom had an emergency c at something
like 24 weeks (baby survived and is quite well) in which they made a
horizontal incision rather than a vertical, would this ...
15 weeks Update!14 Nov 2003 16:36 GMT14
I am in my second trimester, have been for sometime. First of all the
fatique has just about disappeared. Just tiredness at the end of a long
day. I cannot say that about the nausea, although it has come down by
about 70%. Not totally gone. No more spotting again. Still suffering ...

Hello all...
I got a phone call from my doctor yesterday, which is odd since I have

blood tests were back.
