Recovery from c-section13 Nov 2003 04:27 GMT8
Just popped back into this newsgroup, as I know so many of you are helpful!
I had a c-section 7 weeks ago, and I am still not able to do much, I was
just wondering if this is normal or that I am just very unlucky?  I am
nearly healed (I am on second lot of anti-biotics but don't ...

When we were expecting twins, but before we knew it was b/g twins, we
had picked out two sets of names.  For a second boy, Jacob Nicholas, and
for a girl, Isabella Celia.  But, later on we moved, and our next door

Although this may look light-hearted on the face of it, I would really like
a sensible answer to this question.
My lovely fiance and I, have recently, (3 days ago), found out that we are
expecting. Somewhere down the line, the family planning clinic have told my

I seem to have a seriously migratory baby. I was certain this one was
head-down 2 or 3 weeks ago, and my dr agreed with me at my exam. Then
Thursday I went for my weekly checkup and the dr (different one in the
practice) thought she was still breech, or breech again. I was so
Any ideas?12 Nov 2003 15:48 GMT11
I am trying to pick out songs for my husband to burn onto a CD for labor and
delivery and was wondering if anyone had any good suggestions.  I need ideas
for calm/mellow music (I have already chosen some of Norah Jones songs) and
then some upbeat songs.  Thanks!

Listeria12 Nov 2003 13:07 GMT9
I must be getting to an anxious stage.
Today, out of the blue, I started to think and worry about listeria.
Apart from some smoked salmon I had at 5wks on holiday in Scotland ( I
knew about the soft cheese and kabana/meats etc ... but not about the

Down syndrome question12 Nov 2003 10:21 GMT1
Does anyone here know of any good websites with good info on people living
with Down Syndrome? I don't want to go into too much detail (I mean in this
post!), but I would like to learn more myself as well as learn a lot more of
the facts to pass off to someone. I am looking for ...
what a day......12 Nov 2003 09:29 GMT3
After 9 or more positive pregnancy tests, followed by negative tests with no
bleeding but pain, my dr sent me for my u/s, but  when I got there I was
told as my tests were negative that they wouldn't scan me unless their test
was positive! That's why I was there! I was so angry, as ...

I'm still working on my birth story (it will be a long one ;-), but I just

I've just had my first ultrasound at 13 weeks.  I can't believe how active
the little baby is!  It was jumping all over the place, swallowing, sucking
it's thumb and reaching out it's hand - just like a real baby but in
minature.
