| c-section question again | 04 Nov 2003 17:26 GMT | 8 |
Thanks all for your help with posts regarding c-section. If I have a scheduled c-section almost 2 weeks before my actual due date. Isnt taking the baby out when he/she is not ready risky? The baby may not be expecting it because labor has not started, what if he/she is sleeping,

| 20 week scan - is it exactly the same for a boy or girl ? | 04 Nov 2003 14:09 GMT | 2 |
We just had our 20 week scan and I did not ask the sex of the baby - although it would be ok if I knew. During the scan I thought I heard the person doing the scan say something like 'because you are having a little girl I need to take a closer look here' when she was looking at

| Anyone Heard From Linz? | 04 Nov 2003 12:53 GMT | 4 |
I popped 4 months ago but drop in every now n then (it's hard to give up uppp). I'd noticed that Linz was hoping for a homebirth (mine was scotched when ds came 6 weeks early) so I was rooting for her and watching. I've not seen anything though since her Braxton Hicks post. ...

| Kick-off | 04 Nov 2003 12:40 GMT | 24 |
Well, for once I'm grateful to Felix for trying to go to sleep on my legs in the wee small hours of the morning. Shoving him off, I felt what I thought was one of those occasional vaginal mucus splurges and grabbed for a tissue and thought I may as well nip to the loo as I was

| Car seat question | 04 Nov 2003 04:04 GMT | 8 |
Today we installed the base to our car... and it just doesnt seem secure! It is facing towards the back... but it seems like the front of it (towards our seats) can go up quite easily (the base). We put the two latches in as tight as possible into the lower latches by the seat ...

Hi all, I am 15 weeks along with my first baby, I've had 2 O/B visits with the last one being 2 days ago, where he listened for the heartbeat (heard it, blew my mind!). He told me he won't schedule me for an u/s until after my next visit, the day before Thanksgiving.

| time of birth | 03 Nov 2003 23:13 GMT | 8 |
Do UK hospitals note down a baby's time of birth? Does it appear on the birth certificate? My husband says it doesn't, but we can't find his certificate to verify it. I wasn't born here, so I have no idea. Does anyone know? If they don't note it down, when exactly is the ...

| Pros and cons of inducing labor???? | 03 Nov 2003 23:08 GMT | 19 |
I am 36 weeks and had my weekly exam today. I have a couple of questions about getting induced at/after 38 weeks. What would be the pros or cons of it? One I can think of is that that baby gains weight mostly during the last two months so it may weigh a little less then it should at ...

I hope I am wrong but I am afraid I am in the early stages of a m/c. I was taking a shower this am and I noticed a little strand of blood. I remember saying "That's not good." After the shower I went to the bathroom (no straining) and there was pink on the tp. It kept on like that ...
