Update on me (m/c ment)02 Nov 2003 20:48 GMT11
I've been at home, devoid of any internet access. Over the weekend
I started to miscarry spontaneously, and it continued yesterday.
It was quite a devastating experience, I thoroughly underestimated
the emotional impact it would have on me, but after a good cry

Well, I had my post op visit w/my ob today.  All looks good!  My incision is

drive again!  Still no tub soaking though.  I got to see the pics of my

I've been told by a few people not to buy some things because the
hospital will send us home with some stuff.  Here are some things
mentioned:
Bulb suction syringe
Preventing/alleviating Polyhydramnios when fetus is normal02 Nov 2003 03:49 GMT5
I am about 7 months pregnant.  This is my fourth pregnancy.  My first
2 pregnancies I had normal amounts of amniotic fluid.  My third
pregnancy I had a lot of fluid.  It wasn't enough to diagnose me with
polyhydramnios but just to give you an idea, I lost 25 pounds just

Particular type of food making me sick :-(02 Nov 2003 01:09 GMT3
Just wondering if anyone has experience this.
The last two times we've had sausages I've started to feel sick part of the
way through the meal and thrown up before I've finished.
The first time I was suffering from a slight tummy bug but not tonight.
Ultrasound today and questions02 Nov 2003 01:32 GMT21
I had my ultrasound today. It's a boy! While I'm happy to finally know what
my baby is I'm a little freaked out. This is my first baby and I just
assumed it would be a girl. I don't know why I assumed that but I did. I
don't know anything about boy babies. I need advice on boy ...
result of my antenatal screening for down's syndrome and neural tube defects02 Nov 2003 01:07 GMT5
I've been really busy with work and all so I haven't had a chance to
post the results of my screening.  The screening involves a blood test
and an ultra sound at the first visit and then another blood test when
you're in or have passed the 15-16th week.

Can a baby start to engage at 30 weeks?

False alarm...01 Nov 2003 18:28 GMT3
The other day my wife had a cramping pain. Of course we were scared
(she is 32 weeks along) so we immediately went to the hospital
(emergency Doc appoinment). Her doctor said it was not a contraction
and suggested that it was just a bad stretching pain. I'm not entirely
morning sickness question01 Nov 2003 14:06 GMT8
I read in a book that morning sickness is ususally worse with the first
pregnancy. Or does the sex of the baby have any influence. A friend of mine
had horrid morning sicckness with her girl but much less with both boys.
I was really really sick 24/7 with my DD but now this time ...
