I'm about 26 weeks now and booked in to have the baby at Guys and St Thomas'
Hospital (the St Thomas' part) in London.  Wondered if anyone else had
delivered there or heard about it and how they found it.
Cheers

Catholic hospitals and c-section rates25 Nov 2003 01:41 GMT35
Last night, a friend of mine told me that Catholic hospitals have the
highest c-section rates. I have never heard this before and wondered if it
was true, and if so, why. Anyone else heard this? I cannot imagine why a
Catholic hospital would have a higher c-section rates than ...
Name issues25 Nov 2003 01:20 GMT4
Ok here is my issue. Over four years ago my husband and I decided on
Nicholas James for a boy's name. Now I recently changed jobs and there
is a man in my group who's wife is due 5 months before me and they
have also selected the name Nicholas.
naming patterns25 Nov 2003 00:11 GMT5
Would you say that there is a trendy or cultural naming pattern in
your part of the world?
In Sweden people normally give their children two or three names.
The first one would be any name really, and then the seccond and third
More name opinions?24 Nov 2003 23:11 GMT13
Well, I may as well jump in with my own naming uncertainty here...
We already have a girl name picked out, but since we have a shy baby
this time around, we don't know if we also need a boy name.  And,
that's the one we're having problems with.  We have a few ideas, but
Tooth Feeling24 Nov 2003 21:04 GMT2
Hi, I understand that during pregnant its better if we dont go for x-ray at
the dentist, and avoid the filling as well.  But, today my dentist told me
that I can have the teeth filling.  Is there anyone know what type of
filling safe for us?  I really worry if this will affect my ...
Spotting, red, at 5 weeks24 Nov 2003 19:59 GMT10
This is my first post here, and this is my first (hopefully) pregnancy.
My period was due on the 7th. I am very regular so when I was
late, I used the EPT and it came out positive. On 10th I went to
clinic to get urine test done. It came out inconclusive :( So I
I'm officially "retiring"24 Nov 2003 19:57 GMT14
Well, Lann is going to be 2 months old on Friday (I can't believe it!) and
I've decided it is time for me to "retire" into lurkerdom. I still really
enjoy reading this group, but I can't quite manage to keep up with it
lately. Lann keeps me quite busy and what energy remains I'm ...
prenatal vitamin question24 Nov 2003 19:51 GMT15
Well, I'm still unable to stomach my old prenatal vitamins (nausea
associations), so I'm going back to Flintstones.
I know the important one is folic acid, and 800 mcg is the correct dose,
which is two Flintstones' worth.  Is there anything I can overdose on by
More weird sudden pain...24 Nov 2003 16:42 GMT3
I posted before in a panic because one night I woke up at 2am with my left
foot in severe pain and I was unable to walk on it. 3 days later it
gradually went away though it still feels sore sometimes. It was weird and
never happened before until this pregnancy.
pain while starting to show24 Nov 2003 15:38 GMT5
I'm just wondering if this is "normal". I don't think it's
bad - just wierd. Yesterday I didn't really show at all.
This morning I woke up with a sore belly, and I've been
popping out all day long. However - it feels like my
