| Now I don't need an ultrasound to determine the sex! | 11 Dec 2003 01:14 GMT | 4 |
My friend's six year old son says I'm having a boy! When I was pregnant with DD#2, there were 5 or 6 of us pregnant all at the same time that he knows. He guessed every single baby right and most of them he guessed at around 3 or 4 months along!

| Losing weight during first trimester.... | 11 Dec 2003 00:41 GMT | 62 |
I have read that depending on your weight before pregnancy, you should expect to gain between 15 and 25 pounds during a normal pregnancy. The more overweight to start would be the ones who gain less weight, i.e. 15 pounds, and someone who starts out underweight would gain 25-30lbs.. ...

We posted a question the other evening and we are still wondering about what might have happened. My partner had her period mid September and then thought about 4 weeks later she might have been pregnant but then had an extremely heavy period at the end of October. She did a ...

| Yet another episiotomy question | 10 Dec 2003 17:34 GMT | 52 |
Just got back from my 16-week checkup, and I heard something from my doctor that doesn't jive with what I've heard here. I guess I know what I think; but I wouldn't mind some verification from those with experience. I asked him about episiotomies, and mentioned that I'd "heard" ...

| Today's U/S | 10 Dec 2003 15:05 GMT | 5 |
I won't get the results of today's ultrasound until Wednesday. I'm very early, 4 weeks, so they had to do a trans-vaginal u/s. She didn't show me the screen or give me any pictures, so I'm not sure what's going on. She didn't seem too concerned, and asked me when I'd be seeing my ...

| My tri-screen/AFP results | 10 Dec 2003 00:49 GMT | 4 |
Drs office called today and said "Everything is fine." Leave it to someone, when I told them the results they asked me "Exactly what does that mean"? and I realize...I don't know exactly. Doesn't this just mean that I don't show an elevated risk for anything

| un-healed vaginal tear- follow up surgery? | 09 Dec 2003 23:30 GMT | 5 |
Sorry for all the a la carte postings today. The details of Michael Jude's birth two weeks ago are coming out piecemeal I guess until I have the time to write the entire birth story.... Anyway, it's been two weeks to the day since our son was born. I suffered a

| Help! I need sleep | 09 Dec 2003 22:47 GMT | 31 |
I am very early and concerned that if I can't get comfortable to sleep now I am in for trouble. When I try to sleep on my side, my shoulder screams after about 10 minutes. I know that soon I will *only* be able to sleep on my side so this is beginning to make me nervous. I admit ...

| First doc appointment? | 09 Dec 2003 21:17 GMT | 3 |
My have my first real prenatal (I guess that's what it's called?) tomorrow afternoon, and I'm just wondering what to expect. From what I understand, it's quite normal to hear the heart beat on the first visit, but I'm in NB Canada and wondering if it might be different here from the ...
