No Induction Needed :)08 Dec 2003 16:28 GMT10
Baby Michael Jude was born last Monday 24 November at 8:16 after 36 hours of

Thanksgiving Day.
NOTHING was how I envisioned it would be (IV drugs, forceps delivery, 38 fever

Hello all--
We had the "big" midpoint u/s today, and everything looks great. We could
see the four chambers of the heart, but because of the baby's position the
tech couldn't get the three views that the radiologists will want, so we'll
We'll be going for #3 in 2005 :-)08 Dec 2003 14:39 GMT26
I've kind of thought all along I wanted three kids, but DH just wanted two.  So
we had #2 in June 2002, and decided on a "wait and see" approach.
I was so surprised the other day.  DH was looking through the ads in the Sunday
paper, and he said "We need another one of these".  I ...

I  have a 4 month old son (totally breast fed) who will not sleep in the
afternoons. Night-times and mornings are no problem, but getting him to
sleep in the afternoon is a nightmare.
He will have two or three sleeps in the morning of roughly an hour,

We found out last night that there is no heartbeat, no baby. (8w1d)

We are giving up at this point. We have one wonderful child, who
will be spoiled all the more as an "only".
Opinions on holiday travel when not feeling well?07 Dec 2003 22:03 GMT7
My husband has Dec 25 through January 4 off. In the past we never used this
week for travel or anything because at my job I could NEVER ever get a
holiday week off so it wasn't an issue. Now of course I'm not working. He
plans to go to his family's 3 hours away on Christmas Eve ...
Just a couple of questions07 Dec 2003 19:56 GMT4
I was wondering if anyone knew much about maternity belts (the kind that are
suppose alleviate pressure down yonder).  How long are they safe to wear?
Will the belt cause the baby to be moved in the belly and cause problems
getting him in the right position or get him to move?

High blood pressure07 Dec 2003 12:47 GMT5
My Midwife tells me my blood pressure has been increasing quite dramatically
during my pregnancy. I used to have relatively low blood pressure. What
causes blood pressure to increase and what can I do to keep it stable? My
mother tells me I should reduce salt in my diet. Is she ...
Website to Host Small Quicktimes or MPEG's?07 Dec 2003 07:18 GMT1
I'm aware of a bunch of websites to host still photos/photo albums.
Anyone know of a site where we can put some small movies?  We have a
digital videocamera and editing software, and would love to be able to
post small clips of footage on a site to share with the relatives.

This years flu is a killer and is widespread.  What can we as parents do to protect our newborns? My
