How are you feeling this month, three-monthers?  You're almost out of
the first trimester
(depending on how you count) -- still feeling sick and tired, or are you
starting to pick up?  Do you look pregnant?  Heard the heartbeat yet, or
Would this be insensitive?02 Dec 2003 20:05 GMT17
I have a friend TTC #7.  She usually gets pregnant on her first try.  This
time she's on month 8 or 9.  She started TTC way before me, it happened for
us on our second try, she's still trying.  I have tons of Vitex tablets and
Wild Yam capsules I don't need (won't ever need again).  ...
amount of ginger for morning sickness?02 Dec 2003 17:57 GMT3
Hello all. Quick question for the well-read out there:
I find that eating candied (=crystallized) ginger is *wonderful* for
relieving this horrible 24-hr-a-day queasiness and bloating, but I am
not of the camp that believes "if it's natural it can't possibly harm
A bad scare02 Dec 2003 17:18 GMT18
Well, we spent most of last night at the hospital, with me in the
beginnings of preterm labor. The baby is only 27 weeks; if she came
out now she'd have a chance, but not a very good chance. Around 6:00
AM they got it stopped, mostly by forcefeeding me huge quantities of
Arms and hands falling asleep?02 Dec 2003 16:17 GMT8
Anyone else experience this?  It has happened 2 nights in the last week, I
sleep on my side, and wake up because both my arms and hands have fallen
asleep and are tingling painfully.  I turn over and drift off again, only to
be wakened by the same thing.  I read in my pregnancy book ...
We are home :o)02 Dec 2003 10:07 GMT12
Well, we had Daniel :)   Went into the hospital to get induced, and when I
got all snugged in the bed when we got there and went to re-arrange my
pillow, my water broke on its own, lol. So I didnt wind up needing to get
induced. Labor went pretty fast, lasted about 4 hours, and the ...
Braxton Hicks/when will labor begin?02 Dec 2003 06:23 GMT5
My wife is 37 weeks pg, and she has been having more and more frequent
braxton hicks contractions (every other day or so). Is this typical of
what happens leading up to the big day?
I really suspect that my wife is 38 weeks pg, since she the baby

Into the second half of pregnancy!  So it's all swiftly downhill from
here, eh? :)  How's everyone feeling?  Is your body telling you to start
slowing down, taking it a little easier?  How is sleeping going -- lots
of pillows stuck into every nook?  Bellybutton flattening out yet, ...

How are all the almost-almost-theres?  :)  Knee-deep in childbirth
classes?  Waking up a zillion times at night, have to pee more often?
Take some video of those alien-baby-earthquake kicks and tumbles, if you
can catch them.  Any belly hiccups?  Those are the best.  How's life

39 week appointment 02 Dec 2003 02:18 GMT15
well I am home from the hospital.. I'm 1cm, 50% and at a +2 station. The
weird thing is my freaking Dr is making me take another freaking 24 hour

Child Seats - Where is your Tether Hook in your SUV/Wagon????01 Dec 2003 22:23 GMT3
Okay you SUV/Wagon owners - I need your help!  Forward-facing car
seats need to be attached to a tether hook in the car (and I think
it's law up here in Canada).  Most sedans have them in the little
shelf behind the rear seats - but where do they put them in
opinions on M&P Aria Advance pushchair01 Dec 2003 21:14 GMT3
Does anyone have this pushchair or is thinking of buying it?  I just saw
it yesterday at the M&P store and I'm thinking this might be "the one",
but I'd like to hear what others have to say about it.
Thanks
bringing on labor?01 Dec 2003 21:04 GMT8
Okay, I admit it, I'm getting tired of waiting for the little one to
arrive.    (How come he doesn't *know* it's supposed to be his birthday?)
Anyone got any suggestions for bringing on labor?
All I can remember is eat spicy food, or ride over a bumpy road (although
Bloodwork (m/c ment)01 Dec 2003 19:24 GMT4
I had my testing done after my last m/c a couple of weeks ago. They said no
office visit if everything is ok.
The results are in and I just had to make an appointment for an office
visit. Something about cardiolipids...
