Margaret's birth (long)27 Dec 2003 04:37 GMT8
As promised, here's the long version. With this I'll be saying adieu and
wandering back on over to m.k.b. With two children now, I don't know if
I'll ever be pregnant again and I'm kind of sad about it. Best of luck to
all of you and thanks for all the humor and advice.

FAO Sophie conception question24 Dec 2003 20:11 GMT9
Don't you love being the mkp fertility consultant?  :)
Are you the one who said she got pregnant at 1dpo?  TCOYF says that by
the time you see the temp jump, it's too late.  Just wondering if
there's an IRL example contradicting that.
How to tell when you are in labor24 Dec 2003 19:12 GMT9
Hello all...
Okay, this may sound like a stupid question because I already have a
child.  I never went into labor with #1.  So I have no idea what labor
pains feel like.  I am not currently experiencing any weird pains, but
kind of new, kind of not24 Dec 2003 19:05 GMT9
I followed mkp before we were even married, and through my pregnancy,
but barely posted at all. After my son was born, I posted a little bit
more often on mk and mkb. But in short, I expect very few people if
Does anyone think they know24 Dec 2003 09:34 GMT27
the exact date you got pregnant?
how to apply a spanking24 Dec 2003 09:01 GMT2
This was posted to a mother who asked advice about spanking her child.
To follow up on what I said before, I don't want to recommend without knowing
what is going on, what to do. It is your choice as a mother, and must be guided
by your own thoughts, those of your daughter, and your ...
Have They Changed Things?24 Dec 2003 06:47 GMT21
OK, sorry if this has been covered here recently ...
All the pg women I'm running into are totally astounded that I 1) have not
had a doctor's appointment "yet" and 2) haven't had an ultrasound and will
probably just have one unless something comes up.
update on sore ribs24 Dec 2003 00:17 GMT2
I've worked out what it was after being so uncomfortable that i called my
midwife... apparently its squishy rubbing his foot up and down the side of
my right rib, and flicking the inside of it.. i never thought of this myself
because i didnt think he was big enough... i was ...
a pospartum question23 Dec 2003 21:56 GMT4
I had Madeline 7 wks ago, vag delivery, 2nd degree episiotomy. The
lochia had slowed to a barely detectable brownish dishcharge, like the
end of a period at 4 weeks. It was still there at the 6 wk check up,
which the dr said was normal.

3D/4D Ultrasound Follow Up23 Dec 2003 17:46 GMT2
I'm back from my most wonderful long weekend in Atlanta.  I had an
absolutely fantastic time!!!
Just wanted to let you know that I decided against the ultrasound.   I
followed my "gut" instinct which told me that I was doing it strictly for my
using Yevette too much?23 Dec 2003 16:58 GMT5
I would like input on naming the baby Yevette. My husband would love
to name her Yevette. His mom is Yevette, his grandmother is Yevette,
his great grandmother is Yevette, and believe it or not, her mother
was Yevette. First of all I think Yevette should be spelled not
Learning to sit - is he behind?23 Dec 2003 16:14 GMT9
I have a 7 month + one week old son who will sit up on his own. He
rolls both ways, surfs on his belly with arms and legs in the air, and
pushes way up on his arms. He can bear weight on his legs. The cutest
thing he does is put his head down, his butt in the air, and rocks
22 Week U/S23 Dec 2003 13:35 GMT7
Hi All!!! I know I don't post a lot, but I try to post when I can... I
had my 22 week u/s yesterday and was amazed at how active my little
"peanut" is.. I didn't feel a lot of movement, but occasionally feel a
kick a two, we found out I have an anterior placenta, so that is the
