I just got back from my 16 week appointment and everything looks great! My BP was 100/60 (normal for me), and I had only gained 2 pounds since last time. I decided to decline both the AFP and the CF tests. I decided they would just cause too much added stress for me.

| heartbeat rates for boy/girl | 20 Dec 2003 12:37 GMT | 4 |
I had my monthly appointment today at 14w2d, and the heartbeat was around 160. I have heard people talking about what various rates mean in terms of boy/girl, but I guess I missed the main information. Is the rate higher for a boy or for a girl?
