20 wk US it's a...baby!19 Dec 2003 12:49 GMT8
That's all we'll know for a couple of weeks anyway.  I was a little
disappointed that the tech said that she was only 90% sure that it was
a girl but she wouldn't commit to anything.  However, it was very
exciting to get to count all of the sweet little fingers and toes, see
Stroller covers19 Dec 2003 04:38 GMT5
(posted to misc.kids too)
Does anyone have one of those weather tight plastic covers for their stroller?
Is it worth it?  We're dealing with VERY cold temperatures (0-20 degrees F
during the warmest part of the day) and 3 feet of snow on the ground here; I'd
25 Weeks, Amazed at All the Movement!19 Dec 2003 02:42 GMT5
I am utterly amazed at just how much I can feel and now SEE the baby moving.
It's fantastic!  I'm shocked!

I Realized something today...19 Dec 2003 02:04 GMT2
I have mentioned before, that I am thrilled but I don't act like it because
it's hard to when I am feeling nauseous all the time and family stresses
etc.
But, as I was looking at the 4 little girl outfits I bought yesterday...I
Non-napping 2 year old19 Dec 2003 02:02 GMT10
It takes almost an hour every day to try and get my 2 year old to fall
asleep for a nap.  When she does nap, she doesn't go to bed at night until 9
or 10 (and gets up at 7am).  The days she doesn't nap she seems fine and
doesn't get cranky - even if we've had a really busy morning.
Doctors Appointment19 Dec 2003 00:46 GMT10
When are you supposed to make the first appointment to go and see your
doctor once you find out you are pregnant?  Also what will they do ( I
am paranoid about being weighed to the extent of thinking I won't go -
I know how much I weigh thanks and I don't need anyone else to know)
JUST TO LET YOU ALL KNOW..;))18 Dec 2003 20:57 GMT11

I was nervous because I didnt feel any movement yet either ( at about 17
weeks )
But....there ( SHE )....was....;-))))))
18 Week Ultrasound Details..18 Dec 2003 20:50 GMT14
So it took about an hour to prod the baby into spreading her legs, lol, but
the technician is 99% sure it is a girl. She says no u/s tech will ever
promise 100%, but she doesn't guess...she is sure before she tells you,
she'd rather send you home not knowing than give you a guess. ...
No baby movement yet?18 Dec 2003 18:55 GMT8
Should I be worried that I am 18 weeks and don't yet feel the baby moving? I
wasn't worried before but now am starting to wonder ... I thought by now I
would feel things.
I haven't even felt the slight fluttering lately- 2-3 weeks ago I felt a
Flu- I *told* you!!//my Thanksgiving travels18 Dec 2003 06:44 GMT8
Not not me thank goodness.
But in a post earlier I was really complaining angrily about how my inlaws
insisted that no one was sick, and pressured me to be around the kids, with
the flu going around down there. We went (sort of unwillingly on my part
Any experience this?18 Dec 2003 01:51 GMT9
Many times throughout the day, I have a real physical feeling of a cross
between anxiety and nervousness.  Nothing happens, just a feeling of
impending doom overcomes my body.
My mind is okay, but I swear that physically the baby is touching nerves

18 Wk U/s: Yay!! It's a.........17 Dec 2003 21:04 GMT5
woo-hoo! I had the ultrasound. To be short, we were in there forever because
we were the last patients of the day and if the tech couldn't determine the
gender of the baby, my insurance won't cover the cost of another ultrasound
unless medically necessary. We were sweating it out- ...
Miscarriage/ectopic17 Dec 2003 18:32 GMT16
I had an early scan this morning following bleeding and cramps.  It turns
out I have either miscarried as my uterus is completely clear or it is
ectopic.  I had a blood test to see if my hormone levels were decreasing,
which would show it was a miscarriage, but when I phoned for the ...
