This is really unpleasant!!21 Jan 2004 02:34 GMT3
I'm at 34 weeks, and I can't breathe. Okay, I'm getting over a cold
and that REALLY didn't help, but mostly it's just cramped lungspace. I
don't mean that I feel a little short of breath if I move around too
much. I mean that unless I lie sort of arched backwards over a pillow

how to prevent embarrassing situation21 Jan 2004 00:13 GMT31
Here's a problem I've never ever read in this ng.  It was very embarrassing
last time.  I'm not sure if there's anyone IRL I'm willing to spring this
on, so I'll spring it on the entire world semi-anonymously and hopefully no
one reading will know who I am IRL or care.  ;-)

Illness risk working around children during pregnancy?20 Jan 2004 20:06 GMT5
I will be doing some voluntary work in a school in the 3rd trimester.
Should I be worried about exposing myself to groups of young children
(between 5 and 10yrs) as they could be more likely to give me
illnesses such as colds, flu, etc etc? Is this a risk not worth
Failed 1 Hour Glucose Test, Onto the 3 Hour!20 Jan 2004 19:50 GMT48
My number was 156 (whatever that means).  I think normal was 140 so I don't
see WHY I have to take another test.
For those who've had it, what does it entail?  Will I be able to drink the
stuff and then just come back 3 hours later?
"teaching your baby to read"20 Jan 2004 19:49 GMT26
Anyone read this book by Dr.'s Doman? My DH was taught using this method
as a child and was reading everything in the house by age 3. They
couldn't stop him or nearly keep up with his appetite for books! He's
the same way today and re-reads books if he runs out of new ones. He

Co-Sleeper question20 Jan 2004 18:30 GMT15
I'm trying to steer dh away from wanting to buy a cutsey bassinet.  I
think it would be a grand waste of money for the short time the baby
would be able to use it.
Sooo, I'm looking at co-sleepers, Arms Reach, in particular.
