especially when I get up. Walking is a bit painful, too. Does anybody know
what it could be?

I'm being a mother bear!  (rant about smoking)13 Jan 2004 04:05 GMT59
I've always hated smoke.  I've had asthma for a very long time, and have
always hated the fact that my family was more than happy to smoke around
me regardless of my illness.  Yes, they were very caring and
considerate.  ;-)  Anyway, they always knew that I hated it, yet didn't
Some questions about cats.....13 Jan 2004 02:46 GMT9
What exactly is it about pregnancy and cats?
I read that if you were living with cats already then you should be
ok....immune to it, ‘‘what is it’’
I have always lived with at least one cat.
So Excited!13 Jan 2004 01:49 GMT7
I went for a 32 week sonogram today because with my son I was high risk (due
to gestational diabetes and PCOS) so they wanted to just keep an eye.  Lily
is definitely a girl - I'm glad it was confirmed because I would have a LOT
of returning of pink clothing to start doing!  She's 3 ...

Sorry about that.

m/c ment....12 Jan 2004 23:13 GMT12
Well, today I had my second appt, and second ultrasound.
The fetus was unable to develop.  Although I am just over 9 weeks, the measurements of the yolk sac and everything was just measuring at 5 or 6 weeks.  There was no heartbeat or anything that even resembled a baby, just a ...
22 week ultrasound12 Jan 2004 23:07 GMT10
Ok so we finally got an ultrasound today.  I was so excited and very
very happy!  Everything looks great the tech said, baby is 1.5lbs so
far, but it took a while to determine the gender because the baby
absolutely would not stay still.  The tech asked me if I had drank a
One month pregnancy (constant nausea) PLEASE HELP12 Jan 2004 23:02 GMT15
My wife is pregnant for 4 weeks now and she's experiencing

Would like to know how to soothe her actual state.
Fetal movement at 14 weeks12 Jan 2004 22:58 GMT9
I've been feeling definite little kicks from 'Peanut' for about a week now,
we had an u/s last Monday that showed I was right on 13 weeks. Second baby,
so I've been feeling movement a little sooner than I did last time, which
wasn't till around 16 weeks.
I'm here once again!12 Jan 2004 21:58 GMT8
I had a baby girl in March (6th to be exact). I found out yesterday
that I'm pregnant again. I'm due on September 12th this time. Though I
don't take these due dates literally because the first time I
delivered 5 weeks early. I think it runs in the family. My babies will
In this day and age..12 Jan 2004 21:40 GMT9
This just floors me in today's techno world....
An old coworker of mine had a friend that just delivered I guess about 10
days ago or so.  She had a very regular pregnancy, routine OB care, Doppler
every appointment, at least one U/S @ 20weeks.  She went on to have a
Not taking shower for a full month?12 Jan 2004 19:24 GMT13
Women in some parts of Asia do not take a shower for a full month
after childbirth.  In fact, they are discouraged from washing
themselves at all.  Not even with wet towels, or anything.  Usually,
they stay home indoors for that entire month to keep themselves clean

I wonder if someone could answer a question for me.
I have been taking folic acid (500 mcg) daily for a long time and I've
decided to take a multivitamin now.  The vitamin contains 200 mcg of folic
acid.
