How early do they start and does it feel like diarrhea cramps?

23 Weeks and counting.....
De-hairing (Maybe TMI?)24 Jan 2004 02:42 GMT31
I was forced to de-hair myself tonight.  It took a while (about 1/2
hour) because of trying to contort myself in the tub and having to take
breather breaks from those contortions.
You see, I have an OB appointment tomorrow and it is the "internal" one.
How do you manage late pregnancy exams?24 Jan 2004 01:58 GMT24
As I get further and further along, I am finding it so uncomfortable to lay
flat on my back, and started to feel quite faint the other day as I was
laying down and feeling baby. No big deal; everything I have read has said
that this is pretty common in late pregnancy, and I just ...
no baby shower forthcoming.. advice?24 Jan 2004 01:50 GMT16
As my pregnancy is progressing (I am 27w2d today) I find myself more and
more bothered that nobody in my large, extended family has mentioned a
baby shower.
I miscarried very early on in pregnancy in March 2003 and before I knew
Felt baby outside for the 1st time!!24 Jan 2004 01:35 GMT4
I am so excited! Yesterday the baby kicked or stuck SOMEthing right near my
belly button, and I thought for sure that was strong enough to be felt from
the outside. I put my hand there and gave my belly a poke and sure enough, a
little kick! Yay!
What to call the grownups?24 Jan 2004 01:32 GMT47
Have any of you, especially with first kids (I assume those with
children already have already worked this out) been thinking about
what titles you want your kids to use for you and the assorted
relatives? I'm taking a slightly unusual route and have decided to try
Anybody want to take a guess? (poll)23 Jan 2004 20:09 GMT5
It is the question of the hour around my house!  Does anyone have any
guesses on when my baby is going to be born (EDD 02/01/04), his weight, if
he will actually be a boy...?

19w appt23 Jan 2004 19:44 GMT3
Baby had it's legs crossed so we couldn't tell the sex. A little
disappointed as I was really looking forward to going shopping this week!
Everything looked good, baby is growing and all that stuff. Doctor said she
would refer me for therapy if the pelvis pain didn't go away after ...
Migraines...and pregnancy23 Jan 2004 19:03 GMT15
I was wondering if anyone here knows (I would assume people here may know
better than the migraine group since this is pregnancy related). I get
really really bad and sometimes frequent migraines. Before becoming pregnant
I took a cocktail of drugs for them...most often I'd use ...
Took the 3 Hour Glucose Tolerance Test23 Jan 2004 16:22 GMT3
It sucked and left me irritable and tired.
Can we all say, "Ouch!".  Geez.  Honestly it was worse than the two amnio
sticks I endured!
I did ask if I could lie down somewhere (per someone's recommendation here,
Sling/Pouch/Wrap??23 Jan 2004 16:02 GMT5
I am interested in trying a sling or wrap type carrier for wearing my
kiddo.  I got an Infantino sling as a gift, but he seems to just get
lost in the pouch of fabric.  I have a Baby Bjorn, lent from a friend,
but my OB suggests a sling instead.

Interesting and Strange prego item23 Jan 2004 04:28 GMT3
http://www.belly-belt.com/
I saw this today on a newsletter that I get.  It's a sort of waistline
expander for your existing pants.  It looks pretty bulky to me, but I guess
it's great if you're on a budget and don't want to have to buy a whole
Arrrrghhh I peeked!!!23 Jan 2004 02:08 GMT12
Yesterday was my 18 week u/s.  Everything was great. The Jellyfish would not
stop kicking and had it confirmed that the placenta has moved to the front and
that is why I feel so much movement at my bikini line.
So the "plan" was not finding out the sex until he/she was born but I ...
