Pre-owned breast pump?13 Feb 2004 17:10 GMT11
A friend has just left a message that she has a pump she wants to send me.
I have picked one out on my registry, but it is a high-dollar item.  Before
I call her back, is a used breast pump okay to use?  Still ignorant on this
topic,

Help stopping a panic attacks in progress?13 Feb 2004 13:55 GMT15
I know I have posted about this before and responded to others who have
posted abou it. Mercifully, I have not had this be a big problem during
pregnancy after the 1st trimester. My advice to others is usually to ask dr
about an SSRI to prevent panic attacks, try breath control, ...

To those of you in states with Mervyn's stores -- Taylor is in the Mervyn's

she's on page 13, the baby in the chair.  Please keep your eyes out for it.
I'd love to get any extra copies that anyone might have ...

identify with people here but I can access this ng only through
google. And it updates twice a day at most. I mainly access this at
work I can't use another newsreader. (Is there any other way to access
Fluoride and water13 Feb 2004 02:34 GMT22
My husband bought some Culligan water with fluoride added.  I did a little
bit of research (google) re: H2O & fluoride and it sounds okay to drink
during pregnancy.
Anyone else have additional info?

Yesterday I had my 34 week check up, which included a Strep B test.  BP and
weight is okay.  Baby is approximately 4 lbs now.  All seems well.
Internals to begin at 37 weeks.  I will discuss the purpose at my next
appointment in two weeks.
Long, kinda OT vent 12 Feb 2004 20:23 GMT25
I've been upset about something in my home life for the past two months or
so, and I just wanted to let it out, so here goes.
My husband has a younger brother whom we both like a lot.  He is good
company and funny and we always loved it when he would come to visit for the
2 questions about pregnancy massage.12 Feb 2004 18:46 GMT14
I went to get a massage last weekend and the massage therapist refused
to massage me when she found out I was 10 weeks pregnant.  She tried
to explain what she'd been taught, and it basically sounded like she
thought a massage could interfere with the placenta forming and/or
Midwife and/or Doula in Memphis?12 Feb 2004 18:15 GMT5
A lady of my acquaintance told me today that she's just found out she's
pregnant. She's interested in being under the care of a midwife, and having
a doula present at her birth.
Does anyone here have any names/recommendations for midwives (CNMs or

I'm forgetting to take my prenatals, not drinking enough water. In
fact I'm drinking less than what I used to, normally. Eating as if I'm
eating for four though I'm not really hungry. Generally being bad.

not immune to rubella12 Feb 2004 16:14 GMT15
Weird!  I've always had all my shots, yet they just told me that I am
not immune to rubella (blood test results are slowly trickling in, and
that was one of them).  I've been instructed to stay away from anyone
with the disease (no problem, since it's rare around here now that
Nuchal translucency test12 Feb 2004 14:23 GMT1
I had a blood test / u/s for Down's Syndrome this week. Its quite a relief
to know that the chances of having a DS baby are slim for this pg.
Apparently the risk for my age group at 12 weeks is 1:331, but the combined
age, blood test and NT scan have now put the odds at 1:3300.    ...
