Once again, Liz covers a previously popular topic. Had a little spotting tonight. Very little - faint pink, paper only; and then, an hour later, light brown and diminishing. No cramps, no contractions, no other symptoms. Baby kicking up a normal

Hi. I usually post over at mkm, but I think this is particularly relevant to people at mkp, so I'm posting it over here. I have a friend who's a reporter for a major, national parenting magazine. He's working on an article about paternity leave - how

| rented doppler... | 10 Feb 2004 07:35 GMT | 26 |
I was wondering from anyone on here who has in the past or is renting a doppler, how long did you keep it? I've had it for about 4 months and haven't used it nearly as often as I was, I guess because now I can actually feel and see movement. (I'm due May 14th)

| mom and baby sculptures | 10 Feb 2004 07:21 GMT | 6 |
In my OB's office I saw a neat sculpture. A mom holds a baby in her arms. The dad looks over. It's a small statue made of either clay or metal (I didn't touch it). I wanted to ask him where he got it but forgot. There must be a zillion places where they sell those stuff. I

| Iron question for anemia... | 10 Feb 2004 05:35 GMT | 16 |
So I am starting to supplement with iron; the OB gave me Hemocyte brand to use, which is over the counter but I haven't found it in pharmacies yet. I started it 2 days ago and have been vomiting and nauseous! Ew. I really think I can't tolerate this brand. I also had a constipation ...

| Ultrasound | 10 Feb 2004 00:58 GMT | 4 |
I have an ultrasound tomorrow afternoon. I'm a little nervous. Can they see if the baby has any defects or illnesses? I'm scared of being told my baby isn't healthy. It's the routine ultrasound for 20 weeks. I will also hopefully find out if the baby is a boy or a girl. What do you ...

I was on the contraceptive injection a few years ago and came off it in October 2001 and have had no periods since. Now what is worrying me, is the time its taking to get my periods back, as I have no children yet and i am nearly 30, so i am really worried as to when my fertility ...

Phroplactic antibiotic eye ointment for newborns and Vitamin K shots or supplements for new borns? I am leaning towards not wanting to allow either for my newborn when the big day comes.
