Clucky ?21 Feb 2004 19:55 GMT5
I am 33weeks with my first child, and cannot stop thinking about being
pregnant again, a 2nd time.  Cripes! - I haven't even got through birth
yet - it's very strange to be thinking like this :)

23w dr appt21 Feb 2004 19:03 GMT3
Had an appt last night everything looks great. Had an u/s, the head measured
one day ahead and the femur two days so baby is about perfect size! We found
out we are having a boy! DH is very excited! I think it makes it more real
for him.
Is my girl dropping?21 Feb 2004 18:13 GMT9
this afternoon I started feeling some pressure very low in my abdomen. It
lasted for almost 2 hours and at times it took my breath away. At the same
time I started having sciatica pain and my pelvis is so painful that I can
hardly walk. Changing position is still the hardest thing ...
Pain In Belly...?21 Feb 2004 18:05 GMT1
Last night I got in bed around 11:00 and was watching tv, feeing fine
then I noticed a pain down the right side of my belly, almost like the
‘‘stretching ligamet pain’’ so i just thought thats what it was
because it would hurt only if i laughed, coughed, OR pressed on the
Cesareans21 Feb 2004 18:05 GMT17
Shamelessly lifted from Midwifery Today E-News:
A study conducted by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at
Cambridge University looked at 120,633 second births of singletons.
Among 17,754 of these women who had delivered their first babies by
first kick?21 Feb 2004 17:44 GMT7
Had to do it.  Had to put up the usual "omg is this the first kick"
post.  ;-)  I'm pretty sure I have felt this before, but it wasn't as
noticeable as it was this morning.  It felt like a little flutter at
first, and then there was pressure on just one small point, and then it
IUD Removal21 Feb 2004 17:44 GMT3
I have a Copper-T IUD. If I were to want to have it removed (and I'm not
saying I do!), is it better to have it removed during a period or does it
not matter?
Babies and Books...21 Feb 2004 12:03 GMT15
Okay, this feels like sort of a silly question, but here goes.  I have a
good number of books for Taylor, and they are currently in bookshelves in
her room.  One of her favorite activities is to go to the shelf that her
books are on, and pull them off, distributing them around her ...

Morning sickness returns??21 Feb 2004 00:13 GMT9
I'm finding myself chronically nauseated and frequently throwing up,
at 37 weeks. I had a bit of morning sickness in the first four months,
but it went away after that. Now it's back. Has anyone heard of this?
I'm planning to ask my doctor about it when I see her next week, but

FAO: Ericka20 Feb 2004 23:02 GMT2
I've just heard from a friend in your area who is 36 weeks pregnant and her
baby is breech.  Can you e-mail me and tell me what OB performed your
external version?  You said he's highly recommended, right?  Also, I've not
had luck with the gentlebirth URL for exercises to turn the ...
37 Week Checkup20 Feb 2004 21:54 GMT5
Just got back from my 37 week checkup.  I had my first internal exam (please
don't start a whole thing about how it's optional and how I could have had
my water inadvertently broken, etc.) and my group B strep culture.  Dr. said
I'm 1 fingertip dilated, which basically means nothing ...
