Question for Moms:  Pack N Play, Breast Pump, Bottles07 Mar 2004 17:35 GMT29
I have a bassinet and crib.
The crib goes in her nursery.  The bassinet can be used either in MY room or
in the Living Room (where my mother sleeps on a futon.  Her choice!!).  I
was thinking about getting the 5 in 1 Pack N Play that has the full sized

reasons I've heard for not breastfeeding07 Mar 2004 15:39 GMT216
The mind boggles. I understand choosing not to breastfeed if you don't
have proper supply and can't get it, if your baby isn't thriving, or you
have to take medications to live which would go through the breastmilk
and harm the baby, etc... but some of the reasons I've heard ...

I have wanted to comment on this before...honestly, I noticed it when I

Welcome and congratulations, if you're just found out!  Do you feel
pregnant yet, or is it still new and stunning?  Have you started telling
people?  Started to look around at the hospitals and birth centers near
you, taking prenatals?  Any food cravings, any morning queasiness?
Spelling ?07 Mar 2004 02:35 GMT23
Well it looks like we have decided on a boys name finally.  Ok I've liked it
for awhile but DH has come around now since he chose the middle name :)
But my question to you all is about the spelling.... I am not sure how I
want to spell it:

Dilating Question07 Mar 2004 01:58 GMT13
Just wondering when you can begin to dilate?
I have heard you can be dilating ( or be partly-dilated and not
progressing ) for weeks before the birth.
Got my first prediction of gender from a stranger07 Mar 2004 01:17 GMT12
According to the woman at the bagel place, I'm having a boy.  Her
hypothesis is based on looking like I'm carrying a basketball, rather
than getting big all over.  I am carrying about the same as I did with
Thomas, so who knows...
More Anxious Development Questions07 Mar 2004 00:17 GMT28
Well, I truly believe that becoming a WOH mother has finally taken its
toll. Having DH stay at home with DS is stressing me out!! I am not
around DS but for 3 hours a day.
We just had his 9 month appointment. There were several things wrong.

How are you feeling, seven-monthers?  Enjoying your beautiful belly?
Any braxton hicks?  Aches and pains, or are you carrying on with life as
usual?  Everything lined up for the birth, maternity leave, found a
doula, taken a breastfeeding class, toured the birth center/hospital,

I thought I would check in to say hello to you all. I'm 30 weeks pregnant
with my first child and having a pretty good pregnancy so far. One big
problem tho', and would appreciate any advice. I've got bad carpel tunnel
syndrome which is affecting everything I am trying to do. There ...
Anyone wants to take epidural? Or took it and liked it?06 Mar 2004 19:18 GMT35
I took epidural in my first delivery. I read a lot about the
disadvantages of having an epidural on this board when I was pregnant
first time. But I also spoke to my family and friends and they didn't
have any negative things to say about it. In fact they talked as if
Painting (walls) while pregnant06 Mar 2004 14:42 GMT6
Is painting (walls, fences) a no-no during pregnancy? Are there
certain types of paint that are ok?
Thanks.
