| spotting while brestfeeding | 14 Apr 2004 20:19 GMT | 7 |
I was wondering if any one has had this similar experience. I am still nursing my 10 month old baby. About a month ago I starting to have light spotting for about a day. It has been happening now for about 6 weeks. The last few days ( since friday to be exact) I have had light ...

| My 13 week Check Up! | 14 Apr 2004 20:17 GMT | 6 |
Well I had my 13 week check up and when they listened for the heart beat they only heard placenta noises which I took as a semi good sign since I was not sure the placenta would be making any noise if the baby was not using it. Well I had an "just in case" ultrasound scheduled for ...

| Article on birth. | 14 Apr 2004 19:59 GMT | 1 |
There's an article in giving birth in today's Telegraph. It amused me because it reminded me about #1's birth. If you like articles about how "easy" the birth process is then don't bother, but I enjoyed it. Unfortunately you haver to register to get the article (I sneaked a look at

Has your milk come in? I read your other post but not the responses. Anyway, I hope it has. With my daughter it didn't come in until 6 days and it was awful. She got dehydrated and jaundiced and was hospitalized. But it all worked out just fine. I hope you are doing well. I'm ...

| Birth control after pregnancy | 14 Apr 2004 17:16 GMT | 4 |
I have a question that I can't seem to find the answer to anywhere! I have read that if you are not breastfeeding you can start taking the pill 3 weeks postpartum. But no where can I find anything about what to do if you are still bleeding (lochia). Can you start the pill

| anyone else fed up with people asking `have you given birth yet?'? | 14 Apr 2004 17:10 GMT | 11 |
just another late pregnancy annoyance which isn't mentioned in books! When I was over 2 weeks before my due date I started getting emails/phone calls etc from people asking if I have had the baby yet or if labour has started...they all know when the due date is, so this

| Rash on Face | 14 Apr 2004 17:06 GMT | 7 |
I'm 34 weeks pregnant and have developed a rash on my face. It started underneath my nose and has spread around my face and neck. On Sunday, I felt like my face was on fire and now (Tuesday) it feels more like an itch. I am going crazy and am so miserable, I just want to cry. I ...

| breastfeeding woes | 14 Apr 2004 16:19 GMT | 18 |
I've still only got colostrum and it's day 4. I'm sure that's quite normal but my baby has lost 12% of his body weight and his pediatrician is concerned because of his mild case of jaundice. (He is A+ and I am O- blood...) His bilirubin level rose from 10.5 (day 1) to 10.8 (day ...

| Advice--sickness, germs, and new babies | 14 Apr 2004 11:38 GMT | 53 |
I have mentioned this before and this is just something that I can't just get over! I had problems earlier in pregnancy with relatives getting purely angry because I wouldn't want to be around anyone who was possibly sick or had just been sick etc, because I didn't want the flu or ...

| 35 Week midwife appointment yesterday... | 14 Apr 2004 11:36 GMT | 6 |
I called the midwife with a question on Sunday afternoon, because my appointment wasn't until Wednesday (tomorrow). I was wondering about the clear thin disharge I was having and then I also asked her about my swelling, which started early Saturday and did not go down at all- it was

| Your Favourite Moves? | 14 Apr 2004 08:35 GMT | 16 |
Right now (23 weeks) I can still do yoga, weight lifting and walking. I'll likely continue through to the end of my pregnancy like last time. But I'm getting lazy about the weight lifting...particularly as I can't do all the positions I used to be able to (before I got pregnant).
