Leaking amniotic fluid?? question...11 Apr 2004 13:14 GMT5
I am just wondering....what would be the signs of leaking amniotic fluid,
and what are some possible causes?
But mainly, how do you know if it's happening?
I don't think I have reason to worry (I hope not!) I haven't had any
Is it EVER Okay to Let Your Newborn Cry?11 Apr 2004 13:08 GMT30
I just can't get Morgan to sleep without me holding her or having her suck
on my breast constantly.
I am really going crazy.  Is it EVER okay to let your newborn cry in her
crib?  If so, for how long?
Prediction about my labor:11 Apr 2004 06:37 GMT8
I thought this would be fun, to post a prediction about my labor and to see
how close I am. I am 34 weeks this week so this should be weeks in advance
here...
I am due May 17-- actually by the 8 week ultrasound measurement, May 16, but
ultrasounds11 Apr 2004 04:38 GMT15
Has anyone here ever had a vaginal ultrasound.. I know it has a different
name but I can not remember what it was.  Anyway I am 12-13 weeks along now
and according to baby center the dr. could tell what sex the baby will be at
my next appointment.  They where going to do a vaginal ...
Prenatal blood tests - Ashkenazi Panel11 Apr 2004 04:21 GMT7
I've been lurking and really enjoying this group. Now I have a question.  Is
there anyone on the list who is Jewish, who had the full Ashkenazi Jewish
blood panel done?  I had the Tay Sacks test way back in college (in 1980,
Yikes!)  I'm not sure about doing the full panel.
1st Newborn Doc Appointment11 Apr 2004 03:41 GMT9
Morgan had her first doctor's appointment today.
Here's the breakdown:
~The hospital miscalculated her length.  Today she was 20.5" so that means
that she was NOT 19" at birth.  Seems she is in the upper percentile for

Laszlo has been KILLING me lately!
He plays hubby's guitars all the time and makes up words to his lil songs.
Usually it's just the dogs' names and things like that, and after a
performance he requires applause (of course).  So the other day he played
Book Recommendations Please11 Apr 2004 01:14 GMT12
I'm purchasing Happiest Baby on the Block.  What others do you recommend?
I have What to Expect the First Year (though I can't seem to find it) and
the Toddler Years.

Sources for red raspberry leaf tea?10 Apr 2004 20:29 GMT9
I've read on this group about the red raspberry leaf tea, and done a
little side research.  It was also recommended to me by a coworker's
wife for help with nausea and morning sickness.  I read in multiple
places that it's not recommended during the first trimester, but now
Okay, last update for a while  :)10 Apr 2004 16:25 GMT23
Sorry I couldn't get on the computer sooner to update everyone.
Okay, saw the specialist who figures I was probably the one exposed and I
gave it to Charlotte.  Or we were both exposed together about 4 weeks ago.
(Looks like Patrick is coming up with it today too.)
Concerned about pool safety10 Apr 2004 15:52 GMT26
We have a small lap pool in our back yard. I wish we didn't, but we
do. There is a short fence around the pool, and another fence around
our outer back yard. We are consulting with a landscaper tonight about
erecting a taller fence around the pool, but I feel like I am getting

Trying to find another OB10 Apr 2004 06:14 GMT3
I don't know what the secret is, but I'd love to be let in on it!  I've been
searching for a new OB for the past two weeks and have come up with squat.
Because of my history, my current condition AND carrying twins, it seems
impossible to find a doctor who is willing to take me on.  ...
