Welcome and congratulations, if you're just found out!  Do you feel
pregnant yet, or is it still new and stunning?  Have you started telling
people?  Started to look around at the hospitals and birth centers near
you, taking prenatals?  Any food cravings, any morning queasiness?

Shower invitations07 Apr 2004 07:49 GMT5
I am having a baby shower for my best friend and have a few questions.
How far in advance should I send invitations? What are some good games
to play? And last, but not least . . . I want to serve ONE alcholic
fun drink in addition to the decaf iced tea and sparkling water. Any
What Was The Nicest Thing07 Apr 2004 06:30 GMT28
That you DH did for you while pregnant?
OR what was the rudest thing he did?
for me the nicest thing,,,so far...is that he does A LOT of house work
for me, now that my belly is big, and he will insist on doing so, and he
BH contractions...07 Apr 2004 05:02 GMT3
Wow-ee, mine occasionally are starting to really hurt! The only way they
don't worry me is that they will go away when I change positions....today I
couldn't lie down on my left side, my stomach was hurting so bad. I feel the
tightness and the relaxing, and even during the relaxing ...
No 4/4/04 baby for me ;-)07 Apr 2004 03:39 GMT13
Unless this baby gets in a big hurry, the cool birthdate of 4/4/04 is
out of the question, since it's almost 11:30 pm, and no sign of labor!
;-)
Oh,well - otoh, I'll probably get to at least one seder! ;-)
Ffith Disease - not good07 Apr 2004 03:36 GMT24
Well my blood tests came back.  I have been exposed before, as the Dr
assumed.  But I also came up positive for an infection.  He has never seen
this before.  So he called a fetal medicine Dr here in town who wants to see
me tomorrow.  He guesses I've been exposed to a different ...

Pacifier question06 Apr 2004 23:28 GMT41
this one has slipped under my radar for some reason....
I plan to breastfeed and am aware that nipple confusion is why some people
don't want their babies to use pacifiers....but are there any other reasons
a paci is not ideal? I just assumed everyone used them to comfort crying
Terbutaline?06 Apr 2004 21:00 GMT1
On the news yesterday I briefly caught a discussion on the safety of
terbutaline to prevent preterm labour, but I didn't hear the details. I
just tried to google it, but could only come up with some standard answers
that it is perfectly safe. However, the newsitem was about the fact ...
my dental visit06 Apr 2004 20:18 GMT10
I went to the dentist today. As some of you may recall I'd never been to
the dentist before in my life...
The technician looked me over and said, "Your teeth are beautiful!" and
told me that I had some slight calcification on the back of my 4 bottom

September du dates06 Apr 2004 19:52 GMT5
How's everyone feeling this month?  Is the morning sickness gone, the
tiredness starting to fade?  Not too huge yet, but enough belly to run
your hands over with that sweet, wistful smile on your face when you
don't think anyone's noticing? :)  How is sleeping, getting more
When did you lose your plug?06 Apr 2004 17:30 GMT14
When is it common to lose your plug? any last minute girls here? I'm
starting to really despair that I'll be pregnant forever. I haven't lost
my plug yet but am soooo swollen, have irregular contrax all day and
fairly regular ones at night (which go away when I sleep). I'm going
