Intuition about baby's gender25 Apr 2004 12:53 GMT37
Does anyone else think they just intuitively *know* the sex of their baby?
We didn't find out the sex with DD and we haven't with this bub, but I have
a strong feeling that its a boy.
I had the same feeling that DD would be a girl (but prepared myself that it
Finger Foods-Am I being paranoid?25 Apr 2004 10:06 GMT9
My baby is 10 1/2 months and has 9 front teeth (no back teeth).  I was
told I could give my baby a teething bisquit, crackers,  frozen bagels
or toasted wheat bread as safe finger foods.  On all of them, he
managed to bite off big pieces.

Quite a Scare25 Apr 2004 07:09 GMT8
I had quite a scare on Thursday.  I was at a meeting at work.  Some of us
were sitting down, but I was standing as well as some others.  I started to
feel dizzy.  My vision started to fade and then I blacked out and fell to
the floor.  Apparently someone caught me and helped me to ...

Colic cure25 Apr 2004 01:51 GMT8
My wife Sally and I have two children: Alexandria (8/22/2002) and
Zachary (12/20/2003).  Alexandria was a very easy infant, but Zachary
was colicky.  For a significant period of time, we could not find a
solution (as is supposed to be the case with colic).
3rd trimester ickiness?24 Apr 2004 23:06 GMT6
(First of all, a big thanks to the folks on the "Stamina" thread - I owe each
of you a big thanks.  Your stories were very helpful for me and DH. :-))
I'm 36 weeks tomorrow, and the last week I've been feeling a little weird.
Especially today.  I have an appointment tomorrow; but ...

OK, Colic! We've got 6 Dr Brown's Natural Flow Bottles and they seem to
be a lot easier to feed with, Molly certainly got a better night's sleep
last night and so did we, but they're a pain in the bum to use if you
make up milk in the bottle, any suggestions? The thread on the ...

Hebrew baby name help?24 Apr 2004 13:49 GMT14
Anyone have ideas for a good Hebrew name for Gwendolyn Beatrice?  She
is named for my Grandma Gert (Gertrude), but her Hebrew name was
apparently Rachel.  (My dad thinks it may have been for her original
middle name, which started with an R, but can't remember since she
