no help whatsoever22 Apr 2004 21:34 GMT26
Thank you all for being absolutely no help whatsoever.  I don't know what kind
of husbands/birthing coaches you all had, but I can assure you that my entire
focus, since day 1 of the pregnancy has been doing everything I can to keep my
wife healthy, happy, and comfortable, which ...

Little G's Birth (UK)22 Apr 2004 08:43 GMT13
I haven't contributed much here but while pregnant I always loved the
birth stories and found them very very useful so here's mine! My brain
isn't working right due to tiredness so if I'm less than technical in
some areas forgive me... the right words seem to be slipping away!
Saw the Maternal-Fetal Specialist22 Apr 2004 07:34 GMT15
It was a great appointment!
I saw two doctors while I was up there, and I really liked both of them!
They were very friendly, I could tell they knew what they were talking
about, and they gave me honest answers and great advice.

I just turned 32 and have been happily married for 4.5 years!  I am
thinking more and more about starting to try to get pregnant but am
still not sure if I am ready.  Friends tell me that one day you just
wake up and you know you are ready....this has almost happened but not
18 week Ultrasound22 Apr 2004 02:57 GMT7
I had my 18 week ultrasound this morning.  This update is really quite
boring--there were no real issues :)  The baby has 2 arms, 2 legs,
head, chest, beating heart, kidneys, bladder, placenta, umbilical
cord, etc.  Unfortunately, the baby was faced the wrong way for the
Panic attacks.22 Apr 2004 00:13 GMT34
Grrr. This is awful. I swear, no matter what I vent about in posts, this
problem I am having with panic attacks is NOT mental anxiety or mental fear
or ...mental!
I have had 2 full-blown panic attacks this week alone. It has been pretty

Introduction21 Apr 2004 17:16 GMT9
Hi y'all, just a brief intro. I've been lurking here since the ept came
back positive on March 28, but we went to the dr this past friday, and
since everything looks good I thought I'd say "Hi" to everyone. stats:
first pregnancy, age 35, a bit of a surprise, not quite 8 weeks ...
Maternity Clothes21 Apr 2004 16:58 GMT18
I'm having trouble finding affordable and trendy clothing locally,
there are no shops where i live that sell any maternity wear. I've had
some catalogues but everything is so expensive and i am on a tight
budget. Has anyone got any ideas?
Jamie, thanks.21 Apr 2004 16:16 GMT5
Just an update.  Remember that long post you sent about baby signs?  Well, I
started using them again with my daughter and this time around she has
picked up on a lot of them.    Before, when she was having meltdowns all the
time, she didn't have any words, and only one sign (all ...

Whew, what a relief!!21 Apr 2004 13:45 GMT1
No, I haven't had a baby yet!  I just got smart and changed my outgoing
voice mail and turned off the phone!  "No baby yet, we're resting and not
taking any calls, we love you all, leave a message and we'll get back to
you..."
Good Vaporizer or Humidifier? 21 Apr 2004 05:08 GMT1
I've read mixed reviews and am a little confused over what's better- a warm air
vaporizer, or a cool mist humidifier. I had always thought cool mist was
better, but recently read warm. I suppose it depends on the intended use- but
for basic moisture and for illnesses, which is the ...
