Feeling sorry - need to vent19 Apr 2004 16:16 GMT6
Ok so I'm only 8 weeks along with #2 but I'm really starting to get
depressed.  The morning sickness is constant.  The doctor has given me
some prenatals that are full of b6 and b12 to help but they don't.
He's also given me a Rx for phenergan but I don't want to take it
q about stomach bug and pg19 Apr 2004 15:44 GMT14
There is a bad stomach bug (vomiting and diarrhoea) going around this town
atm.  Since just about everybody I know has had it, I'm guessing that we
probably won't escape (esp.since I seem to catch every bug that comes
along).  Last time we got it I was still bf DD so she never came ...
Oh, gosh.  Now I know what REAL "morning" sickness is!19 Apr 2004 14:05 GMT7
I would swear to all the saints if it could help me.  I had mentioned, and
even complained, that I was always nauseated.  Well, now the throwing up has
caught up with me.  I never believed it could be that bad.
The worst of it is, I didn't feel any better afterward.
Contractions and bleeding19 Apr 2004 04:58 GMT1
Last night for a couple hours I had some painful contractions but I
drank a bunch of water and they went away.  It was a little scary for me
but I'm feeling fine today.  While attempting a BM (which for me has not
been easy since day 1 of my pregnancy) I've had a little vaginal
Midwife or OB?19 Apr 2004 04:41 GMT42
I am running a quest to find the most suitable place to give birth, as well
as to find the best practitioner for my pregnancy.  After considering the
options, I believe my choice is made, but I still have some doubts.
I am a person who doesn't like hospitals in general, but at the ...
anorectal abscess?19 Apr 2004 03:42 GMT3
Has anyone here had a newborn develop an abscess around his or her
rectum?  I hear it's really common in infants.  My son is 4 weeks old
and had to have one lanced today.  It was a truely horrible experience
to say the least.  I am supposed to keep the wound open by soaking a
identify this sweet (re: mooncake)19 Apr 2004 01:34 GMT1
After reading the long thread about mooncake I bought one at the local
chinese store. Since I'm a vegetarian I could only pick up mungbean
mooncake because rest of them had lard in them.
Last year when DH went to China on business, he brought some kind of

Seeing the peri on Monday!18 Apr 2004 20:43 GMT3
I'm so excited, I can't wait for Monday to get here.  I'm really hoping to
get some good news, and find out if there are better ways to treat my
preterm contractions.  My doctor upped my dosage of Nifedipine to 10 mg
every 3 hours or 20 mg every six, whichever works best for me.  I ...
Maybe OT: Newborns and Television?17 Apr 2004 16:27 GMT25
Anyone up for weighing in on a domestic disagreement? ;)
DH and I come from very different backgrounds when it comes to the issue of
television. As I understand it, he was allowed unlimited access to
television growing up - both in terms of content and time spent. I was
Killfiles and blocked posters//ATTN Ericka17 Apr 2004 12:42 GMT7
I have noticed this and I don't know how it happened!! For some reason, I do
not get Ericka Krammerer's (did I spell that ok?) posts directly...only
through replies where she has been copied by others. I don't know why!! I do
not have any of the regular posters here killfiled or ...

Just wanted to post a `hello' message as I am new to this newsgroup.  My
fiancee is ten weeks pregnant tomorrow so I am feverishly reading the
archives with interest to see what lies in store.

postpartum sex17 Apr 2004 06:43 GMT20
I had a c-section. Assuming I do nothing to disrupt the incision and
take it generally slow and easy what reasons are there to abstain from
sex postpartum?

39 + week checkup & Thanks to Ericka!17 Apr 2004 06:38 GMT7
Hi all;
Can't believe it's so close now!  DH went to the Dr. with me this morning,
as I had been having considerable anxiety about interventions and getting
the Doctor to listen to me.
