Post-partum swelling?18 May 2004 17:58 GMT13
I gave birth to a baby boy last friday afternoon.  Going into the
hospital I had developed a little swelling in my feet and hands but
nothing that would be considered "cankles" or excessive.  Baby and I
came on Monday and since then my ankles and feet have began to swell up,

I was helping out in the nursery at church this morning, and had to change
one of the other babies' poopy diaper.  I was really surprised to see that

My new girl baby born on May 10th and having low oxygen saturation
level. It's around 82 to 85. Doctors are saying that fluid entered her
lungs during delivery because my wife had c-section  and baby need
some oxygen help and everything will be alright in a week. I brought

at 3wks, 2days.
Cal should have gained approx 300grams for his age.
He has gained 600grams !!  The nurse said he will dwarf us both, and my
husband joked "who *IS* the father then ... ?!" :)

My 9 month old gets put down the same time every night but for the last 3
nights she has not wanted to goto bed I'm not sure why and what to really do
about it.  We have been letting her cry it out but I don't think that is the
right thing to do.  Does anyone here have any other ...

Last Wed my hcg was 65 (about 14 dpo); it was 23, 48 hours earlier.
Not spectacular numbers; but doesn't seem like anything's wrong yet either.
I have already ordered cool weather maternity gear, as one of my faults
is -- too many clothes.

I am trying to sterilize some bottles to put breastmilk in, and also
sterilize the breastpump so I can give my cousin some of my milk.  Anyway,
after I boil them there is a white film on the bottles, etc.  Is this OK?
How can I not have the stuff on the bottles?  Sorry if I sound ...

ok...so this is my first month TTC and I'm just a tad bit excited about
all of this.  I know I really should just relax because this could take
a while but I'm excited regardless.  I think that I should be excited
though, I am about to embark on a very life changing experience.
