Two babies in two years!09 May 2004 05:21 GMT3
Has anyone else out there had children very close in age? I am due in
Nov. and my first baby is only 10 months old! I hadn't lost all of the
weight from the first pregnancy. I am exhausted from getting up several
times in the night with my 10 mo. old and wondering how will I do the
36 week checkup09 May 2004 04:59 GMT4
Well, I had my 36 week checkup today.  My blood pressure was still good,
110/60, I think.  And the baby's heartrate was 164 (still in the girl range
according to the old wives tale!  Even though I'm feeling like this one's a
boy.).  I had the GBS swab and it was no big deal for me ...
lots of ovulation signs without temp rise?09 May 2004 02:25 GMT5
Was wondering if anyone knew exactly what the mechanism tying ovulation
signs/symptoms together is?  Are they all caused by the same hormonal shift,
and thus if you have some symptoms you can be quite confident ovulation is
happening?  Or is it more a coordination of several ...

ibuprofen & vaccine08 May 2004 21:30 GMT14
DD is 9 weeks old.  She went in for vacs today.  I gave her ibuprofen before
coming in.  Dr. Sears says ibuprofen was approved for 6 mo & up but in 2001,
it was found safe for 2 mo & up.

Weighing in at 7lb 6oz, Jameson Michael arrived kicking and screaming

tear at the last moment. So after surviving a fairly intense ...

Advice/support needed08 May 2004 18:03 GMT1
I have a very good friend who is due in November (as am I), who had
something called the "First Look" testing done a couple weeks ago. The u/s
looks for a skin flap in the back of the neck, and it detected nothing. The
blood work looks for blood protein levels, which came back low- ...

How are you feeling this month, three-monthers?  You're almost out of
the first trimester
(depending on how you count) -- still feeling sick and tired, or are you
starting to pick up?  Do you look pregnant?  Heard the heartbeat yet, or
Birth Announcement (extremely long)08 May 2004 13:16 GMT23
Sigh.  I thought I would live my life out without ever having told a story
like this, and I also thought I was just fine with that...
I was never going to have children of my own.  My DH had 4, and even though
they don't live with us, I get lots of love from them, and it's been
September due dates08 May 2004 13:07 GMT6
Halfway there!  How's everyone doing?  Making the switch into "wow, I
really look pregnant now" or have you been there for a while?  Kicks and
tumbles?  Dealing with the glucose test, a possible amnio, results from
the triple screen, ultrasounds?  Happy with your birth plans, your ...
What you can see on an ultrasound08 May 2004 13:04 GMT31
I had my fetal medicine specialist appointment yesterday.  I was surprised
during the u/s when the tech said "wow, would you look at that, your baby
has a ton of hair".  Sure enough on the back of the head was tons of white
fluffy stuff.  Who knew you could see hair on an u/s?!  ...

Into the second half of pregnancy!  So it's all swiftly downhill from
here, eh? :)  How's everyone feeling?  Is your body telling you to start
slowing down, taking it a little easier?  How is sleeping going -- lots
of pillows stuck into every nook?  Bellybutton flattening out yet, ...
