I don't have as much time to post AND the computer keys make so much noise
that Morgan may wake up.
So, I don't post as much.  But I have read your birth stories and wish you
all congratulations!
costochondritis in pregnancy29 May 2004 03:25 GMT2
I have had this bruise like feeling on my upper rib for about two weeks,
today it started hurting really bad and I decided to call the doctor.  She
said I have costochondritis and gave me tylonal 3.  It doesn't hurt that bad
now... I don't think I'll be taking the tylonal (she said ...
"new" morning sickness cure29 May 2004 02:51 GMT6
A new study (Smith C et al. A randomized controlled trial of ginger to treat
nausea and vomiting in pregnancy. Obstet Gynecol 2004;103:639-45) has
apparently discovered that ... wait for it .... *ginger* works as well as B6
for morning sickness.

people who have fertility issues or hormonal in-balances.

Hi;
So, I am due July 31st. My doctor is irritating the hell out of me.
I started seeing him even before I got pregnant & I must admit that I
had 100% faith in his medical abilities. He is not too friendly, but he

leakage28 May 2004 18:40 GMT2
From all I've read, the leakage that is normal in pregnancy (I am 16 weeks)
is supposed to be thick and mucousy-like. I am damp pretty much all the
time, and when I exercise my panties get even wetter. I am worried that I
may be leaking amniotic fluid since it doesn't seem to be ...

Life changes due to pregnancy (emotional, past loss ment)28 May 2004 15:32 GMT6
The last day of school was yesterday-and I'm hitting major depression. I've
wanted this baby for a long time, and I've known since Brian was born that
when I next got pregnant, I would be leaving teaching pretty soon after the
pregnancy was confirmed, rather than waiting until the ...
Sick of the horror stories!28 May 2004 14:18 GMT21
So I'm having a great pregnancy all around, but since I want to give
birth in a birth center instead of a hospital, people are using my
private choice to tell me the absolute worst birth horror stories I've
ever had to deal with in my life!
carrier & sling28 May 2004 09:18 GMT15
Well, I sent DH out to go buy me both a carrier and a sling today.  I'm
not sure which one Quinn will prefer so that's why I'm going with both.
I can't get Quinn to lay down by himself and sleep during the day for
the most part though he'll sleep if he's laying on my chest or ...
BTDT moms:  is it as hard the second time around?28 May 2004 09:18 GMT75
So following Carol Ann's story over the last six weeks has had me reliving
the early days with my daughter;   the shellshock, the exhaustion, the
inability to stop her crying at times, the six weeks sitting on the couch
nursing, the 30 second showers, the mess....  I'm remembering ...
Hospital Policies28 May 2004 07:56 GMT5
This post is halfway between a vent....and 'food for thought'...
I have been reading here on MKP for 10 years now (yikes...has it
really been that long?) and I regularly hear people say things like,
"My hospitals policy is..." or "my doctor won't let me..." or "I have
