No, nothing to do with baby.  She's doing great.
I've wanted throughout this pregnancy to deliver naturally, no drugs.  I do
understand that I might change my mind in the middle of it; and I know that
sometimes medical conditions present themselves that make more rigorous
First OB Appointment06 May 2004 14:46 GMT3
I love my doctor!
I haven't seen him in three years, and when he saw me in the hallway he gave me
a big hug and told me I looked wonderful (I'm about 30 lbs. lighter and in much
better shape then when we last met!).
Introduction06 May 2004 11:01 GMT9
My name is Shawn, my wife is Jodi. We live in Oregon.
This is my first newsgroup, so I'm kinda checking things out. We are
expecting our first child sometime in November. We went through a M/C a year
ago on May 15th, so hopefully things go better this time.
Induction questions06 May 2004 10:55 GMT18
After talking to my OB today it got me to thinking about the methods of
induction.  They offer Cervidil or AROM or AROM w/ pitocin.  Does anyone
what to share with my their experiences with those methods or others?
TIA!

Pregnancy06 May 2004 02:27 GMT4
I am just wondering if it's a good idea to try to loose weight while in my
first trimester. I am 5'3 and I weigh 142 pounds. Though I don't look fat
my breast are huge and I have a donut around my waist. But before I
actually begin gaining pregnancy weigh I would like to loose the ...
Emotional Instability?05 May 2004 22:19 GMT2
I have a question that I hope one of you may be able to answer. My
wife is approx 2.5 to 3 mos. pregnant. In early January she
miscarried. Since learning of this new pregnancy she has become an
absolute terror to live with. She's making accusations of me that are
postnatal visitors05 May 2004 22:12 GMT95
I recently gave birth to a baby girl (just under 2 weeks ago), and I
have had a hard time trying to fight off visitors. It started when I
had only been home from the hospital one hour and someone turned up
unannounced to see the baby. Then friends and family asked to come
Dealing with unsolicited comments05 May 2004 20:17 GMT2
I am writing an article for Glamour magazine's pregancy page; this is a great
newsgroup and I have often gotten terrific help for other pregnancy articles in
the past.
Now I am looking for quotes from pregnant women in the U.S. on how you have

Insomnia - I don't seem to recall having it so bad with my previous
pregnancy but I swear I am awake half the night.  Tossing and turning,
tossing and turning. I have a body pillow and plenty of other pillows
surrounding me during the night so its not a comfort thing, I just cant

Okay, Need Clarification, All Nite BreastFeeding?05 May 2004 02:37 GMT17
The baby WANTS to have me in her mouth, so I allow it even if it lasts for
hours upon hours through the nite?
I lay down and feed so that I can sleep at nite.  It's okay for Morgan to
stay latched on?

18 weeks and no movement05 May 2004 01:12 GMT14
A friend of mine is 18 weeks pg and still cannot feel *any* movement.  I was
feeling flutters by at least 14 weeks and I am very overweight (she is about
112 lbs soaking wet!).  Is it something she should be concerned about?  Or
is it because she is small, her baby is small and ...
