morning sickness question26 May 2004 02:11 GMT1
Can morning sickness also include stomach upsets, headaches and hot flushes?
I think I probably have a virus but was just wondering.
I have been feeling really sick since Saturday but only actually been sick a
few times and had slight diarrhoea a couple of times (Sorry if TMI) so
Newborn checkup26 May 2004 02:02 GMT8
Quinn, DH, and I went to the doctor for his 2 week checkup last friday.
He weighed in a 9 lbs even, after being born at 8lbs 1oz but left the
hospital at 7lbs 14 oz and grew from 19.5 inches to 20 inches.  That
seems like a lot to me but I guess that means he's just growing like
Babies and Bills25 May 2004 23:29 GMT14
I got a new bill on Friday, from my Dr.
An extra $1000+ on top of his regular bill for a "long & difficult
labour".
Considering it went longer than it should have because he was at another
Is it ok to put off testing?25 May 2004 21:51 GMT3
From what I've read chances of m/c drop off a bit at six weeks past
LMP (not by much, but at least implantation-related issues are less
likely to still happen).  Having gone through a very early m/c (5
weeks), I'm tempted to not even test at all until the 42 day mark from
141 bpm + depression in early pregnancy?25 May 2004 21:46 GMT3
Well, I had my ultrasound today and we saw the heartbeat. It was 141 bpm and
everything looked fine. I'm quite relieved and very apprieciatve of all the
support I've gotten from you ladies. It looks like the chance of m/c has
become much, much smaller and the blighted ovum theory ...

fighting sleep question25 May 2004 15:17 GMT3

Caden in 3 weeks old and already starting to do it during the day... i
remember reading somewhere that newborns will fall asleep when they are
tired, and not fight.... but its not what he is doing... any reason for
Chlamydia and fertility25 May 2004 12:47 GMT2
Hi, I've just been told I have Chlamydia but the test showed signs of a past
infection not a current one. I had an ectopic pregnancy last year, and that
is why I asked to be tested. I have never had any symptoms, nor does my
husband.  What I am trying to find out is the prognosis ...

Spoiling a baby/attachment parenting25 May 2004 11:29 GMT22
This debate is raging around my house. Extended family, who had babies in a
different era, are insisting we need to nip things in the bud. I want some
opinions. And yep-- I own Dr. Sears "The Baby Book" and think attachment
parenting is the style for me.
Speaking of cats.... help!25 May 2004 06:00 GMT22
So we've got the nursery set up, we're ready for the boys, but our cat is in
the way.  She keeps jumping in the crib, the cradle swing and the bassinet.
Any suggestions on keeping her out of it?
Thanks!
Oh lord, panic attacks again...25 May 2004 05:02 GMT3
This is just bizarre to me, WHY I suffer from panic attacks! It has been a
problem for years. I don't get them THAT often, but after about 10 years of
having them occasionally- usually no more than a few a month and sometimes
months go by without one..it's driving me nuts. I did not ...
Car accident last night25 May 2004 04:35 GMT59
Geez what a pain.
I was leaving base about 5:30 pm to get the kids dinner (Dylan's away,
didn't feel like cooking). I passed one accident, didn't know the car in
front of me was stopping (as opposed to slowing down) for an accident in
advice needed - what to put on baby registry?25 May 2004 03:55 GMT5
Okay, I know that Emily Post looks down on baby registries - but this
is the first grandchild on both sides of the family so I am pretty
much being asked to register somewhere because the grandmothers are
really excited and want to shop (I know we are very lucky) - we also
U/S tomorrow24 May 2004 23:49 GMT5
I'll be 18 weeks tomorrow and we're having our ultrasound. I know deep down
that everything is fine, but I am sooo nervous. Hopefully I get a good
report and even the gender as a bonus!
