2 cloth diapering Q's16 Jun 2004 13:59 GMT5
1) Can I go ahead and buy the 14.5x22" size of cloth diaper (i.e. will
I be able to fold it down enough to fit a newborn?) or do we have to
start with the 12"x16" size and buy larger ones later?
2) What make/model of diaper pail do folks recommend for cloth
30 Week Update16 Jun 2004 11:56 GMT12
I had a great appointment this morning!!
First off, I had a biophysical profile. The babies were moving around quite
a bit. We know why I've had decreased movement from Baby A though, he's just
repositioned himself and now I can't distinguish between the two. So, both

I am 18 weeks pregnant now. My body feel very, very itchy and there is

Question for anyone who checks their own cervix - sp TMI16 Jun 2004 02:07 GMT7
Ok, now I'm curious. I'm used to charting cervical position from when I was
ttc, and know what my cervix normally feels like. After I had a bit of
spotting - 36 weeks - I wondered about my dilation/effacement etc. I've
tried to check myself, but I can't find my cervix at all! I've ...
Postpartum depression16 Jun 2004 01:54 GMT12
I stopped Paxil as soon as I was able after having the baby, during the
second week of breastfeeding and have had more energy and been feeling GREAT
and calm etc. I wasn't on it for depression, was on it for panic attacks.
Had been on it in the past for anxiety/stress but never ...
overdoing it with aerobic exercise 6 months post c-section?16 Jun 2004 00:52 GMT7
It has been almost 6 months since the cesarean birth of my second
baby. At 6 weeks postpartum, I was told that my incision looked great
and my uterus was completely back to normal.  I started exercise again
gradually. I felt well enough to go out for walks again at 2-3 months.
Is this normal???15 Jun 2004 22:58 GMT5
I didn't breast feed my DD the first 6 weeks because she couldn't latch for
ages so all this is new too me...
We called him cranky pants because the first few days he was before my milk
came in...
Edema in one foot only? o_O15 Jun 2004 21:31 GMT2
Lastnight, I went into the L&D to get my foot checked. For the past
few days, my right foot has been swelling up. It's usually fine in the
mornings but then it swells later in the day. I've noticed it each
time because of the numb tingly like feeling it gets when it swells
32 week appoint - Baby still Breech15 Jun 2004 21:24 GMT34
Had my 32 week appointment today and everything was well but baby is still
breech. OB told me that the baby still has a chance to turn but if she does
not we would do one of the following:
A) At 38 weeks would be admitted into hospital, given an epidural and have

Sorry for the identical post, I just have no time whatsoever...
Due to a significant lack of time and still only 24 hours in a day in
spite of a request to increase this, I've not been around here as often as
I would like.

Books on pregnancy - in Chinese.....15 Jun 2004 15:56 GMT1
Can anyone recommend a good book to buy for my wife? her native language is
Cantonese so I suppose any books written in traditional Chinese script would
be OK. Wonder if any of you know of a good book to buy her? All the ones we
find on the net are in English

Can you believe it already??
Had my appointment today.  Was surprised to be re-tested for GBS today.
Apparently since Lewis (Dec 2001) things have changed.  I tested + with
Patrick so I was treated as if I was + with Lewis, even though he was a
What to say to recent c-section mom?15 Jun 2004 14:19 GMT26
A dear friend and I had the wonderful experience of being pregnant at the
same time.  I was in the third trimester when she was in her first.  My
daughter's birth had a couple complications, but it was vaginal, and my baby
was healthy. So despite some high jinks along the way, I was ...
