Sciatic Nerve/Lower Back pain... normal at 18 weeks?13 Jun 2004 09:06 GMT4
I have a busy 23 month-old toddler, so I roll around/crawl/run/rough
house with him quite a bit.
For the last day or so I've gotten some sharp pain (feels like a
pinched nerve) in the lower back & shooting pains down what feels like
Has ANYONE who was induced actually managed to deliver?13 Jun 2004 08:37 GMT25
I was talking to a friend who just had a baby, where they induced at 42
weeks, and after 16 hours, the doctor did a  C-section. And it seems that
this is pretty typical of people here, too. If it usually fails, why put
women through the pain of induced labor, followed by a ...
Bad foods for breastmilk13 Jun 2004 06:16 GMT5
What foods have you found that affect your baby the most?  At times, my baby
has alot of gas and is stopped up (won't poo) for several days at a time.
It's very difficult for me to pinpoint what foods could be causing this as I
normally eat healthy foods which have a high fiber ...
Why does this bother me? (re - breastfeeding)12 Jun 2004 23:01 GMT459
Mini-vent coming on -
As a person who did not/does not breastfeed, why does it bother me when
people say breastfeeding in public is "inappropriate" - and particularly
it's inappropriate in a **restaurant**??  Ugh!  I can't imagine how it makes
"Up in the laundry"12 Jun 2004 20:13 GMT39
Up in the laundry
Most of today's new homes are built with finished laundry rooms near
either the bedrooms or the kitchen, instead of in the basement,
according to metropolitan-area interior designers.
Wiggle worm!! and etc12 Jun 2004 14:56 GMT5
Rachel has turned into a really major wiggle worm. Diaper changes and baths,
and when she has her height measured are getting to be a struggle.......she
sleeps like a log though, and sleeps through the night except sometimes
wakes up once between 1:30a-3:30am for a feeding and ...

Hey y'all,
What is the exact full name (dots and all) for mkpttc? I searched for it
through my newsreader in every way I can think of with no luck. I'm not
TTC (since we got lucky) but my best friend is and she is getting quite
6th lumbar vertebrae12 Jun 2004 06:57 GMT1
Anyone know if this could be a problem during birth? I went to a
chiropractor last summer for pain in my lower back and he told me I had
a 6th lumbar vertebrae, (I guess meaning 2 tailbones) and he said it
could cause more pain during pregnancy for some and my doctor tells me
Emily's birth story (late)12 Jun 2004 06:01 GMT16
All the birth stories on this newsgroup helped me tremendously while I was
pregnant.  I'll share mine, in hopes that it might help someone else.
There are not enough words in our language to describe what it was like
bringing Emily into the world.  Hopefully I've been able to give ...

Dreading C-section #211 Jun 2004 04:09 GMT63
I have a question about c-sections. With DS I had a c-section because I
was a week overdue so they induced me and I made it all the way to 10cm
and didn't make progress (after 14 hrs of being induced :P) so they did
a c-sec. I thought the c-sec was absolutely horrible. I could feel ...

What happens if you are engorged, feed your baby and don't pump?
I'm still pretty full, but Morgan fell asleep.
