Question about stitches05 Jun 2004 05:56 GMT4
I have quite a few stitches (vaginally), they are the kind that dissolve...I
have never had this kind before. It's been 3 weeks and they are still there
(of course)....I am just wondering, how long do they remain before they do
dissolve? I am so afraid they are going to itch as it ...
Quick Re-Intro!05 Jun 2004 05:23 GMT3
I ran into Sophie on alt.fashion, and thought I'd poke my head in here
again.  Not sure if anyone remembers me, but it sure feels like a sort
of homecoming.  It's nice to see many of the old familiar names.
I was here a couple of years back when I had my son, and now I'm 4

In my search for the *right* name, I found this page :

Maybe I'm in a strange mood (just eaten 4 marshmallows - sugar rush) but the
oddball name suggestions cracked me up.
Pool water temp.05 Jun 2004 03:56 GMT2
Well, I found a cute bathing suit and a waterproof diaper to bring the baby
into the pool with.  My question is:  Do you all think the water will be too
cold for her?  Do any of you bring your babies into somewhat cold pool
water?  Are they fine with it?

Infant swimwear05 Jun 2004 01:28 GMT30
We have a 2 month old that we'd like to take into the pool (just to slowly
get her used to water).  I went to Target today to get her those Swimmers
diapers and they don't make them for infants as small as her.  I also looked
all around in the baby section and couldn't find a ...
Looking for a kid-safe vehicle- recs?04 Jun 2004 18:50 GMT33
My husband and I are looking to trade his truck in for a vehicle better
suited for me to drive Rachel and future kids around in. He has a Ford F150
extended cab, and I have an old (c. 1990) Honda Accord. He is driving my car
for his commute to work, because with everyone else ...
"Extreme" attachment? (kind of long)04 Jun 2004 18:08 GMT6
DD has been around her dad, her brother, friends, and relatives since
the day she was born. I've held her no more or less than I did her
2-year-old brother (although I am breastfeeding her and he was bottle
fed). However, at 3 months, she still rarely allows anyone else to
BBT Chart04 Jun 2004 16:50 GMT23
I've just started doing myself a BBT chart, in excel, which plots a graph for you of your BBT over the month, if anyone wants me to forward them a copy when I've finished just mail me and I'll e-mail you a copy FOC.
Basically you write in your BBT and it plots it on a chart for ...
Nesting question04 Jun 2004 16:44 GMT7
Does it hit only once or can it come and go?
I got a bunch done this past weekend and am hitting a low.  I am hoping for
another "nesting whammy" to hit so I can use that energy to finish up...not
that it will ever really be done.

Update from Jamie04 Jun 2004 15:51 GMT1
All,
Well, if it weren't for the back log at the San Mateo County Courthouse, I
think we'd have been Home Study approved and "in the book" at least a week
ago, if not more.  I sent a request to San Mateo County on May 12th, asking
BBT Thermometer vs. Regular digital Thermometer04 Jun 2004 15:46 GMT4
I have been using a digital thermometer to chart my temperatures this
week.  They have really been all over the place.  Is there actually a
different between a BBT thermometer and a regular digital one?  My
thermometer is sensitive to one tenth of a degree.  I really don't want
I am pregnant04 Jun 2004 03:52 GMT18
After almost 6 years (it would have been 6 years in August) I took a HPT at
work yesterday and 2 at home this morning.  All 3 are positive.  I am very
happy, excited, and every other emotion there is.

Name suggestions please04 Jun 2004 03:19 GMT29
OK ... I'm after any and all suggestions.
It feels like pulling teeth to have to ask others for suggestions, but I
figure that asking you guys is probably the best bet for a lot of input
without any great expectations that we will use your suggestion (unlike my
