Long-distance baby shower04 Jun 2004 02:58 GMT11
My cousin is expecting, and lives ~1500 miles away from the rest of the
family.  Has anyone had or given a long-distance baby shower, and how
did that work?
Just asking.03 Jun 2004 19:40 GMT42
has anyone ever thought maybe you should have named your baby another
name. OR were you 100% happy with the one you picked?
I love Chloe, but I also loved Olivia too. and melanie, AND

Huggies diapers ..03 Jun 2004 19:11 GMT32
These are horrible. I just want to vent. (I know I should be using
cloth).....but anyway we have been  trying to find the disposable diapers
that work best for us and have tried Pampers Baby Dry and Swaddlers, Huggies
ultratrim, etc etc etc....
Rachel gained weight, yay!03 Jun 2004 16:40 GMT12
I was worried about her weigh-in today, since the pediatrician was not
liking the fact that Rachel did not regain the weight she lost after birth,
at her 2 week visit. (At birth, 7 lb 11oz...at week 1 was 7 lb 2 oz ... week
2 was 7 lb 6 oz when they really wanted her to be back at ...
Mom on her way....03 Jun 2004 16:38 GMT2
Well I figured it was time for an update from me!
My Mom is in the air as I type this on her way across country.  I haven't
seen her in almost a year!  Hard to believe it has been so long but with
phone calls, pics and emails we definitely stay in touch. She'll be with us
Ectopic pregnancy03 Jun 2004 15:04 GMT17
I need to tap the vast knowledge of this group.  I am currently 5w6d
pregnant.  On Friday, 5w3d, I went to the doctor and she made a
sonogram on which she could not find the baby.  She checked the HCG
levels and they were over 2,000. The doctor assumes an ectopic
c-section bleeding...03 Jun 2004 14:37 GMT4
I had a c-section on May 16th -- I haven't had any problems at all and
the incision seems to be healing fine but I did have a question about
the bleeding patterns.  It seems like in the past week or so that my
bleeding goes from sort of brownish red to almost non-existant to
Anxiety03 Jun 2004 14:17 GMT1
Lately I sometimes feel like I can't draw a deep breath.  It is kind of like a
weight on or a knot in my chest.  I seem to recall feeling like this in my last
pregnancy and I think it is some kind of pregnancy anxiety as opposed to a
purely physical thing.

Baby fussiness and crying--gas?03 Jun 2004 03:06 GMT17
Every since DS was born he's been fussy and crabby which DH and I can
deal with because that's just how some babies are.  Over the past couple
weeks it has gotten really bad.  Usually for 3-4 hours (at least) in the
morning he cries or fusses inconsolably and no amount of holding ...
I'm an Aunt! (C-Section question)03 Jun 2004 00:15 GMT8
My sister had her first baby last night, a girl!  I'm so excited!  But she had
to have a C-section after many, many hours of labor and a few hours of pushing.
We'd planned for her to spend the two weeks after giving birth at my house to
recover, and now I'm wondering what special ...

Ultrasound results--GENDER!!!!!02 Jun 2004 23:19 GMT40
It's a girl!!!!! *Very* clearly a girl!
We were pretty surprised actually, but we are thrilled. Matthew was
surprisingly thrilled. In the week since we told him I was pregnant he kept
referring to the baby as he and would only talk about boy names. When the
Julia Roberts' pregnancy02 Jun 2004 20:20 GMT9
So, CNN is reporting that she's pg with twins, and CNN is further
reporting that US Weekly says she's nine weeks along, and  Star Magazine
is reporting that the twins are a boy and a girl. Uh, how would anyone
know the sex at nine weeks? Unless, I guess, she had IVF, and prenatal ...
