Constant movement for comfort20 Jun 2004 21:07 GMT6
My baby sometimes seems to need constant movement in order to be
comfortable.  Alot of times after she's done feeding, I will put her in the
swing to lull her to sleep.  Once asleep, I turn the swing off so she has a
motionless sleep.  Once the swing comes to a complete stop, she ...
When did you start showing?20 Jun 2004 20:30 GMT54
Just curious... I think I started showing around 14-16 weeks with #1 but
can't really remember... I know you typically show faster with second
pregnancies... at 10 weeks I'm already a little "poochy". But I've been
looking at maternity clothes lately and I'm not really sure what ...
Giving birth phobia?20 Jun 2004 20:22 GMT31
Please, if you plan to play smart aleck or be critical of me, just
overlook my post & move on to another.
OK, I am terrified! I am not sure if it is a phobia or what, but just
thinking about my giving birth is scaring me. I am writing today, cause
Mirena IUD20 Jun 2004 16:21 GMT6
Has anyone had any negative side effects using the Mirena IUD?
I've done a search on the internet and I've only found positive posts.
I had the procedure 3 months ago and have experienced quite a lot of
difficulty with excessive bleeding and debilitating cramps.
Feeling Crazy!!  (intimate question too)20 Jun 2004 12:53 GMT2
I remember when DD was around four months old "thinking" I was pregnant
(totally wasn't thank goodness!).  And I am feeling it again!!  I feel quite
silly.  This time around I think I know what is going on...I am experiencing
PMS for the first time in over a year so it feels weird.  ...
Gulp!20 Jun 2004 12:05 GMT3
Been to the midwife today, first checkup since my 20wk scan.  She examined
me and referred me straight back to the hospital, apparently the baby is
rather big.  She took a few measurements and is of the opinion that rather
than the 26wks the previous scans have put me at, it's more ...

In search of . . . a certain stroller20 Jun 2004 05:19 GMT11
I know I have seen this stroller somewhere . . .
It looks like your basic umbrella-type stroller, but in the back there is a two
step contraption where an older child can stand on the bottom step facing out,
or sit on the top step facing mom.
Kinda OT--whine about a bee sting20 Jun 2004 03:15 GMT9
So I got stung by a bee last night.  On my foot.  The darned thing got
himself into my sandal and then apparently got upset about my foot
being in there with him.  So he stung me on my little toe.
Funny, I didn't notice the sting at first, just that I had something
Ovulation or just warm?20 Jun 2004 02:42 GMT11
I woke up this morning and said to myself "I feel warm".  With that I took
my temp and sure enough it was high (for me).  Yesterday's temp was 97.2 and
today's is 97.7.  Usually a .5 jump is ovulation - but today is only Day 9.
With kids 1, 2, and 3 ovulation wasn't till Day 21-23.  ...
Bug spray question20 Jun 2004 00:12 GMT7
I'm off on a two-day business trip next week and have been told I am
going to want to thoroughly cover myself with bug spray - not just
because of the mosquitoes, but also the horseflies. (And I do tend to be
particularly succulent to mosquitoes.) Does anyone have any
