Bloody stools from breastmilk31 Jul 2004 23:11 GMT11
I found bloody stools in my baby's diaper yesterday and promptly called the
doctor.  They had me come in later in the day.  Upon examining my baby's
rectum and her dirty diaper (she took a poop in the waiting room), he
concluded that she is more than likely having a reaction from ...
Pregnancy and teeth31 Jul 2004 22:48 GMT57
Yet another reminder to take care of your teeth, ladies.
After Charlotte I had a cavity, that filling fell out and I took too long
getting it seen to. I ended up with an abscess, root canal, and crown (got
it done after Patrick was born).  Then had about 6 cavities after Lewis.
Please stop the public attention breastfeeding..............31 Jul 2004 22:33 GMT28
It does not make you look like a "real woman" and does nothing but
irritate most all of the people you see glancing at you. Have a little
class and save it for the restroom or a private area away from others
that do not know you and do not care about your little one. If I am
cord blood banking?31 Jul 2004 18:16 GMT5
Hi, anyone have any opinion on cord blood banking? I asked my ob about
it and he said as me and my DH are slightly different backgrounds (I
am of general caucasian background, he is of jewish descent from
eastern europe) that we should consider private cord blood banking
Early risk assesment31 Jul 2004 14:41 GMT21
My wife has opted not to do an amnio bceause of the slight danger it
represents to the baby.  Instead she is doing something which she says is a
fairly new procedure referred to as an ERA or Early Risk Assesment.  We're
doing that next Friday at Mass General.  If that shows a ...

DH brought home new toy!31 Jul 2004 10:50 GMT8
My husband is the best! He just brought home one of the new Roomba vacs
as a surprise. We'd both read about them and thought they were neat.
Last night he stopped at the mall on his way home and bought one. It's
so fun to watch it work! It spins around, lingers on dirty spots, ...
Premature birth missed baby bonus31 Jul 2004 10:31 GMT6
Have you missed out on the new $3,000 baby bonus because your baby was
born prematurely.  I am just interest to see how many people have been
affected by this.

I think the cat is getting suspicious30 Jul 2004 23:09 GMT15
DC was lying on my lap while I was on the computer today, and every time the
baby kicked or moved, he'd look up at me with this puzzled expression. Guess
he better get used to it!

Had the scan today!30 Jul 2004 21:07 GMT3
I had my 21 week scan today, partly 'cos I'm impatient to see the baby in
whatever form, and partly so my mother could see it.  The technician was
wonderful, and gave us a commentary of what she was doing and looking for,
and traced out the arteries etc for us. Everything looked ...
