My dr. gave Bonnie a perscription for Floride but we never used it.. we
filled it once but at the time I read dont mix with dairy and she was still
mainly on formula so did not see the point.  Now every time I go to the Dr
he asks if I am doing the floride and I say we have it but ...
unwelcome belly touching19 Jul 2004 01:53 GMT4
Well it finally happened to me!  I can finally join the I Hate It When
People Touch My Belly club!  ;-)  Short version of the story:  family
reunion, everyone felt totally OK about touching my belly without my
permission, and it drove me nuts because it was sore (skin stretched ...
Valium During 2nd Trimester of Pregnancy?19 Jul 2004 01:41 GMT16
Does anyone know of any studies that have been done on the safety of
valium use during the second trimester of pregnancy? We will be going on
vacation, flying, which I am a little nervous about and the doctor has
told me he can prescribe for me some valium. All I can find about it ...

experience:
I got pregnant in March and was super excited; this is going to be my

that I may have to have an epidural for labour becuase of the excrutiating
Do you correct other peoples' children?18 Jul 2004 02:11 GMT28
At least where I live, people seem to be so hands-off about correcting
anyone's children but their own, even if their own children are being hurt
by unruly kids. And other parents can get all bent out of shape if anyone
dares to try to curb their precious darlings, even when ...

Blood Clots17 Jul 2004 22:05 GMT38
My stepsister, who is six months pregnant, was on an airplane when she became
nauseated.  Then her fingers got numb, and soon she couldn't spell words or
remember things (sketchy info, I know, but it's all I have ATM).
She was diagnosed with a "blood clot on the brain."  There is a ...
Analysing Birth and Questions17 Jul 2004 21:52 GMT5
Well Little G is 3 months old and now I'm used to everything I'm
thinking back on my birth experience, especially with regard to having
a second baby, which we'll start trying for when G is one.
I was induced at 41 weeks for high blood pressure and protein in
Anxiety17 Jul 2004 21:46 GMT2
This anxiety thing I have been having is getting worse.  I don't have anything
to feel anxious about more than usual; it seems like some kind of  hormonal
upheaval like PPD.  I have this feeling of uneasiness and dread and
restlessness, and feel short of breath and as if there were ...
Swimming post partum?17 Jul 2004 19:08 GMT2
I'm now at three weeks post partum today and tomorrow we're going to Matt's
aunt's house. She has a swimming pool and it would be nice to be able to go
swimming. However, is it safe at this point? Other then stitches lagging
behind (grr) the lacerations are pretty much healed. ...
FAO Ericka, or anyone, midwife question17 Jul 2004 17:52 GMT4
What's the website where you can go to find out about the various state
legalities for midwives?  I know I've seen it mentioned before, but now I
can't find it.  (Not for me; I'm quite happy with my midwives, but a friend
in another state has a question.)  Thanks!
DH not really "interested" - advice?17 Jul 2004 17:24 GMT15
Hi all.  I need some help.  Or at least some consolation, maybe?
I'm about 30 weeks along, and DH just isn't interested in me anymore.
He's very excited about the baby, and he is, in pretty much all
respects, a wonderful husband.  But lately it seems he'd prefer
Birth Story from the Dad's perspective17 Jul 2004 16:59 GMT13
Matt wrote the birth story, I haven't had the time to do one yet. It's
long. Keep in mind if you read it, it's his writing. Enjoy :)
"This is the birth story of Brittany Susan from the father's
perspective. The day is June 25th, and Jody and I are both asleep, or
