Ack. Rachel has been good (and is still a wonderful baby!) but this week, she has been having crying spells like crazy, when I KNOW she is not hungry or wet/dirty. What can this be? She does not seem to have gas and isn't even spitting up as much. This time, it started Monday when ...

| Shots and firemen | 15 Jul 2004 23:37 GMT | 5 |
OMG. Rachel had 3 shots today, and her wailing and piercing shrieks brought me to tears. They only lasted ....20 seconds....but it almost broke my heart. She gets real, and fat, tears now when she is crying hard. She stopped crying as soon as she was bandaged up and I did the usual- ...

| TTC preparations | 15 Jul 2004 19:36 GMT | 16 |
My OB's best guess as to what happened last time around was that the placenta was just in a "bad spot", i.e., that things were bad from the start. So, as I start thinking about TTC, I'm wondering what all I should be doing to

| Help! Are these labor pains I'm having?? | 15 Jul 2004 14:55 GMT | 11 |
OK, I might ramble a bit here, as I'm a little rattled... I'm due in a little less than 2 weeks. The baby seems to have gradually descended over the last couple weeks, and I've felt more pressure and some pain in my groin, as well as my back. For the last few weeks my B-H contrax

| UTI symptoms, but midwife says no UTI? | 15 Jul 2004 12:54 GMT | 4 |
I went in to see my CNW today because I'm having symptoms which to me scream UTI (and, given that I seem doomed to get 1-2 of these things a year, I'm pretty familiar with them). I did start really pushing the fluids and cranberries when I started feeling it yesterday. Anyway, she ...

Just for fun, I thought I would measure around my belly to see if I am really as big as I have been thinking. Anyone else brave enough to do the same and post the results? :-) I am due November 2, and my stomach around my waist in back and navel in front

| X Posted: Ear Piercing... | 15 Jul 2004 08:07 GMT | 65 |
For Lily, not me. I'm so on the fence about it, but I know the earlier I do it, the better off we'll all be (because she won't be old enough to know to pull at her ears, etc.) Our pediatrician gave us the ok and I found another pediatrician's office

| weird movement | 15 Jul 2004 03:28 GMT | 4 |
I'm 34 weeks along, and this is my second pregnancy. The baby does this shuttering thing, it's weird... it's almost like a heartbeat... but it's not mine (faster) and probably too slow to be hers. It's definatly faster than hiccups and feels different.. it's very rythmic... ...

| Newborn nightmares? | 15 Jul 2004 03:20 GMT | 11 |
Okay, this is quite upsetting when it happens. Since Michael was about 3-4 weeks old, he has occasionally awakened with a heartbreaking, wrenching, howling cry, as though something horrible has been done to him. It's very emotional, and takes some doing to calm him down. He has ...
