awesome day today13 Jul 2004 19:21 GMT13
Just had to share...  I FINALLY went swimming!  We've actually been
having a much cooler summer than normal, this year.  This is a Good
Thing for a pregnant woman, but it means that swimming had to be put off
for a bit.  Anyway, today, we wandered around and enjoyed some local
cheapest pampers in bulk?13 Jul 2004 19:16 GMT10
The wife insists on brand name pampers.  Sam's has them for about 20 cents
each, it looks like they are around 16 cents at Amazon (with free shipping).
I'm wondering if anyone knows of someplace even less expensive?  Thanks!

Printing your own birth announcements 13 Jul 2004 16:44 GMT3
I have decided its more economical (and more fun)to print our own birth
announcements at home rather than ordering them online. We have a good
computer/printer/scanner etc so the quality should be good. I would like to
design something  that includes a photo of the baby and DS with ...
Lily's homemade birth announcement13 Jul 2004 16:35 GMT7
You know, I was always meaning to post pictures of Lily's birth announcement
that I made...I did a collage of sorts and used some of Laszlo's crayon
drawings to fill in the background.  Go to this link to see the pictures

Any NZ Shortland street fans? (Yes, it is on topic!)13 Jul 2004 10:20 GMT8
Having seen the final episode of Friends, with Erica giving birth lying on a
bed (as did Rachelk many episodes earlier), I was expecting to see much the
same from Waverley.  How surprising then that she got to hospital, was on
the bed for having her BP taken, and then spent the rest ...

Does anyone know of any safe medication that I can be prescribed whilst TTC ?
I was on one medication and checked it up on the internet and it said it wasn't safe to use whilst pregnant or TTC. I saw my doctor and explained I wanted them changing and she prescribed. NIFEDIPINE ...

So it has been 4 years since I surfed any baby/pregnancy websites.  What are
some recommendations for fun, interesting websites?
Thanks,

February 05 due dates13 Jul 2004 07:09 GMT19
Welcome and congratulations, if you're just found out!  Do you feel
pregnant yet, or is it still new and stunning?  Have you started telling
people?  Started to look around at the hospitals and birth centers near
you, taking prenatals?  Any food cravings, any morning queasiness?
Attn Jill: Dr. Greene on labial adhesions13 Jul 2004 04:18 GMT9
Jill, I know you were dealing with your mother about this issue, and maybe
you could print out this guy's web page (he's really on the money, and
really easy to read) about this problem. I suppose your mother wouldn't
listen even if your doctor told her to stop with the Q-tip on ...
Not reflux but the p-word?13 Jul 2004 01:36 GMT5
What IS that word, peri-something. ANyway they are doing a sonogram on
Rachel tomorrow to check for that, since she is still projectile vomiting
and spits up a lot, and it comes out of her nose etc.
The dr said she may actually have reflux but several things point away from

Feeling great - re - my birth *issues*12 Jul 2004 21:25 GMT27
Well my Dr finally realized yesterday that Monday July 5 is our July 4th
holiday so no one will be at the hospital to do my pre-op appointment so I
did it yesterday, after my regular OB appointment.
I was a bit worried cos when I mentioned *really* wanting to go over the
Bathing newborns through about 6 months?12 Jul 2004 19:51 GMT35
Argh. I guess Rachel is not considered a newborn anyway at 2 months old (I
guess techincally a newborn is under a month old?)....but, I regret that I
never found a great way to bathe her when she was that little. I just got a
Primo Eurobath and haven't used it yet, but it will at ...
Breastfeeding & birth control12 Jul 2004 18:20 GMT6
Ok, so I know exclusive breastfeeding is not a sure method of birth control,
and that you can be ovulating and become pregnant before you get your
periods back, but what is the absolute soonest you can become pregnant while
nursing exclusively?
