Thank you for your great advice.  What are some of the best places to
shop for baby items?  What would you suggest shopping for first?  My
wife isn't due for another 6 months, but I wanted to get a head start.
Also, what is the best source of information for what products to buy?

I don't want this to get into a really venty thread or anything, but just
wondering what advice there is on caring for baby the way YOU choose to, and
keeping other people from interfering. It seems pretty common for
grandparents etc to step in and do things their way- so how can ...

Is green tea safe during pregnancy? There is this bottled variety that I
love- the brand name is "Arizona" and it has green tea, honey, and
ginseng extract in it. Any thoughts on whether or not this is safe?

i just had my ultrasound. the lady said there is no doubt that im having
a boy. i was hoping for a girl but im still very happy.  the ultrasound
pictures were amazing and my baby boy weighs 1 lb. and 1 oz. also
pregnancy is feeling more real, now that the baby is kicking a lot and

I've been wondering about this for a while. Do you have any anecdotes
on how physical strain brought early labor? Does full or partial bed
rest avoid/postpone early labor?

ok I really like my midwife she is nice, good attitude, non judgemental but
she is worried about EVERYTHING.  She is more likely to want to do tests
that I am not sure are needed but sound important enough to do.. kwim?  For
instance the level 2 ultrasound that I HAD to have before ...

Ok I have doing various things to help encourage this baby to turn (the
ironing board trick, visualization, laying with my bottom up in the air via
various positions, etc).
My questions are:

It's a baby girl, perfect in everyway: two arms, two legs, 10 toes, 10
fingers, a perfect heart, etc., etc. etc. My dates were correct, and she is
due on Nov 20.
