Somewhat OT:  Nip/Tuck on Television02 Jul 2004 21:15 GMT11
I was shocked by the scene where a breastfeeding mother made her baby's
father suck the milk out of her breasts because she was engorged.
She said she forgot her pump and they were at a party.
Did you see that??

I knew this would happen...  (arthritis pain)02 Jul 2004 15:23 GMT5
Oh man, I just *knew* that this would happen!  I'm having an "arthritis
day" as I call them, and I don't want to take my favourite medicine
(ibuprofen) because I'm too far into the third trimester.  :-(  I just
knew that this would eventually happen when I couldn't take anything ...
How to alliviate Pelvic Pain02 Jul 2004 06:41 GMT4
I know pelvic pain is just one of those things that go along with being
pregnant. I got lucky while pregnant with DS as I never had any sort of
major discomforts but of course this pregnancy is totally different. I have
been having pelvic pain for the past couple of months that has ...
sun shade for car seat02 Jul 2004 04:37 GMT3
DS has grown out of his infant car seat. I have to move him to the cosco
now and I am concerned that the sun will get to him; it's been quite
sunny and hot here lately and the sun hits the car seat dead on.
I have looked on the web site for the car seat and there isn't any sun
Periods after miscarriage and funny sensations02 Jul 2004 04:21 GMT9
I wanted to know about other womens experiences after their
miscarriage.  I had a miscarriage 3 weeks ago and bled for about a
week.  I started having sex after 12 days.  I have not had any obvious
problems from having intercourse after my miscarriage.  However just
Found a midwife!02 Jul 2004 04:10 GMT1
I found a wonderful woman to be my midwife! I interviewed 3 midwives all of
who were fantastic but I just felt more of a connection with the one I
chose. She is a Registered Midwife here in BC Canada as well as a CSN in the
US and has an MScN (Nurse-Midwifery). She is very much into ...
A sleep question for expectant mums02 Jul 2004 03:51 GMT20
I am 16 weeks pregant now (gee, where has the time gone).  I used to be a
great sleeper (through electrical storms, fire alarms etc), but as I've got
older, I've had more problems.  My trouble now is that I have to wake up in
the night to pee.  The first time, I am tired, and go ...
Pain and stiffness in both hands02 Jul 2004 02:31 GMT7
In the last week I've noticed pain and stiffness in my hands - could this be
due to swelling? They haven't swollen *that* much, not like my feet, which
are gigantic at all times now, but that's the only reason I can think of.
It's much worse in the morning and tends to subside by ...
BIG bouncers?02 Jul 2004 02:14 GMT1
Ok having been given a precious moments bouncer which did not play music
and did not vibrate despite changing the batteries we put it aside and
only used the aquarium bouncer we had also been given. The aquarium
bouncer of course is a big hit. We found out DS does not need the ...
Sippy cup storage solution (OT)02 Jul 2004 00:58 GMT32
What do you all do with your sippy cups? I just don't have a place for them,
and they're always overflowing in my dish drainer and looking like  a big mess!
There's no rearranging that can be done, and the only idea I can come up with
is to put a covered bin under the sink (the only ...

33 Weeks and hanging on!01 Jul 2004 21:59 GMT10
Sorry I  haven't came here too often lately, regardless of being on bedrest,
between all this medical stuff I'm so busy!
Anyway, I had my 33 week appointment yesterday (I'm going weekly now.)  The
boys scored perfect 8/8 on their Biophysical Profiles.  My cervical length
