| MOMS study | 14 Aug 2004 00:38 GMT | 2 |
Well, at the beginning when they start asking your obstetric history, it says "If you have been pregnant several times, please fill in the subsequent questions according to your last pregnancy that resulted in the birth of (a) live infant(s)." That is the "pregnancy in question."

| Q about spending time on tummy for 1 month old | 13 Aug 2004 23:47 GMT | 11 |
I can hardly believe it has been almost a month since Harry was born but the calendar says that's so ;-) I sort of feel like he should be starting to spend some time in a prone (or is it supine - I can never remember which is which. You know, 'on his tummy') position, to see

| It's official (m/c ment)... | 13 Aug 2004 22:44 GMT | 16 |
Studies on the psychological effects of a m/c on the mother have shown that the impact is usually comparable to witnessing a major disaster like a train crash or serious traffic accident. The mother has a chance of developing post-traumatic stress disorder, and most women develop ...

| DH is apathetic toward pregnancy | 13 Aug 2004 18:33 GMT | 29 |
It seems DH is rather uninterested in this pregnancy. He has only felt the baby move once and that's only because I asked him to. He put his hand there and felt her kick once and said "Oh" in a bored tone of voice. He doesn't talk about the baby or bring anything up regarding her

| Thyroid and Pragnancy | 13 Aug 2004 11:44 GMT | 7 |
I just heard a report this morning about a study just published in JAMA that hyperthyroidism can be just as bad for a fetus as hypothyroidism. Apparently it is common for doctors to recommend that women who

| Bilateral renal agenesis. | 13 Aug 2004 01:55 GMT | 26 |
A friend who is due 10 days after me went in for her 'routine' 20 week scan yesterday, and came back with this diagnosis. Oh boy - basically no kidneys or bladder can be seen, and the chances of survival for the baby are nil. She seemed so strong on the phone this morning - I had ...

| 39 weeks/ cervix closing? | 12 Aug 2004 23:38 GMT | 5 |
I just got home from my 39 wk appt. I'm kind of discouraged though. First off, my bp and the baby are doing great... that's the most important! But, last week I was 2 cm dilated & 90% effaced. Now she says I'm barely 1 cm dilated! How does that happen!? I've had TONS of ...

How are you feeling this month, three-monthers? You're almost out of the first trimester (depending on how you count) -- still feeling sick or tired, or are you starting to pick up? Do you look pregnant? Heard the heartbeat yet, or

| 39 weeks and counting | 12 Aug 2004 22:59 GMT | 2 |
Still here and waiting ... which seems strange to me as I was geared up for action when the head engaged a couple of weeks ago ... but it popped back up and while it is low in the pelvis, its not actually engaged again yet. BP was fine (125/70) and weight keeps bouncing up and down ...

| Progesterone supplementing (longish..) | 12 Aug 2004 18:41 GMT | 11 |
I think I mentioned elsewhere the decision has been made in favour of the progesterone supplements over Clomid. It was made for me, as the biopsy came back normal, so Clomid wouldn't do much for me. The nurse told me to ask for progesterone suppositories, and if they weren't ...
