it's weird to run into someone as pregnant as you are12 Aug 2004 18:25 GMT19
It's weird to walk into a store and the woman who comes up to help you
out is just as preggo as you are.  ;-)  She's due within a week of me.
We joked that we would see each other in the hospital.  It must have
looked really comical to see us, though.  Another worker in the store ...

How do you relax12 Aug 2004 04:30 GMT6
I had my 18 week appt today. Everything looks great, and my OB's one
addition is to try to spend several hours a day sitting with my feet up or
lying down, just relaxing (since we're going into what we know to be a high
risk time for me-as he says, the one thing we don't want me to ...

Weird symptoms12 Aug 2004 01:45 GMT2
For the past week I have been waking up with a pounding headache and
feeling slightly nauseated. If I take two Tylenol it goes away but
sometimes comes back in the afternoon. I also feel like my heart is
pounding while doing routine household chores. Is this due to increased

I have a 3 month old baby boy and he has severe cradle cap. What did you all do to solve the problem.

VERY disappointing 23 week appt.11 Aug 2004 23:21 GMT41
I had my OB visit today and near the end of the appointment I asked him
if he had a chance to review my history to decide whether I would be a
good candidate for VBAC. All he really told me is that my next c-section
experience wouldn't be as bad as the first. He seems like a good ...
How to help friend - any ideas?11 Aug 2004 23:02 GMT27
I found out yesterday that my friend who had a baby about 6 weeks ago had to
have a hysterectomy at the time.  I had suspected that was the case, but
didn't want to ask. (She was very lucky to survive the emergency c-section).
Up till now I've just been treating her as I would any ...
being ill at end of pregnancy...11 Aug 2004 22:38 GMT10
So, what are the things to be aware of if you're ill and your due date
is coming up?  I haven't gone to see my doctor yet, but I'm really
starting to feel certain that I've caught a bug.  Stomach upset (lots of
queasiness, loss of appetite, but no more heartburn), headache, major ...

I am so excited.  Today I was eating lunch with my sister and my soon to be
2 year old said to this elderly lady.  'that's my baby' pointing to my

The lady was commenting on how beautiful and well behaved she was.  Then the
Ultrasound today -- we're having ...11 Aug 2004 17:29 GMT13
Boys!  We saw two little boys at my ultrasound today.  I'm at
seventeen weeks.  They are both estimated to weigh eight ounces.  The
head, arm, and thigh measurements are all in line, too.  My husband
was convinced we would have girls.  He's surprised!
