Dear Parents,
Please help us save the lives of up to 30,000 babies a year in the U.S.

question11 Aug 2004 06:22 GMT4
About a month ago, one of my condoms broke during sex.  My g/f is on
the patch, and has not missed a "new patch day" since she got on it 2
1/2 yrs ago.  Before the "accident," she went to her doctor for her
regular exam and he told her that her ovaries were extremely small and
24 weeks appointment11 Aug 2004 05:34 GMT4
I went last week to my 24 weeks appointment. This time, contrary to the
others, I met with the midwife who will be assisting me in delivery. The
other times, I had barely met her, as I have agreed to have a student for
the first few months. I could have declined and gone straight ...
March due dates 03/0511 Aug 2004 05:21 GMT16
Welcome and congratulations, if you're just found out!  Do you feel
pregnant yet, or is it still new and stunning?  Have you started telling
people?  Started to look around at the hospitals and birth centers near
you, taking prenatals?  Any food cravings, any morning queasiness?

what they are (which method or book) Did you actually find it working
for you?
Hey Lucy! I'm home!11 Aug 2004 04:21 GMT52
Hi everyone! I haven't been here for a while, but recognize a few faces. :)
I thought I'd post an introduction post since there are so many I don't
recognize, and can't wait to "meet" all of you.
I'm Victoria.  I'm a 32 year old mother of two who lives in Ohio with my
How much to pay for a crib set?11 Aug 2004 04:21 GMT38
I found an adorable one, but the cost, esp for something which is probably
going to get messed up seems high-$150.00 for a quilt, bumper, sheet, and
skirt. In addition, can you even use a quilt or a bumper in the crib with
the baby? If not, where do you use them?
cuski11 Aug 2004 04:21 GMT13

never took to it.

Oh as if that were news!  ;-)
The latest thing is that I'm hearing babies cry.  It's really weird.
There are no babies crying.  I just imagine hearing them.  Once I even
felt like I had forgotten my baby somewhere, even though I knew

Last night the practice I see hosted a tour of the maternity wing of

I'd taken the general tour 3 yrs. ago when expecting DS, but wanted to
make sure things hadn't changed since then. Turns out there had been a

A charting question:  My temps the past two days

trip overseas, 9 time zones away.  I know that even

Just wanted to say that I'm well into motherhood now so I guess I can wander
elsewhere. Thanks to those of you who gave me advice.

About seven years ago, she was severely injured in a car accident. She
