Postpartum swollen feet - normal??08 Aug 2004 00:08 GMT6
DS Harry is 6 days old, and ever since I got back from the hospital, my feet
have been HUGE, much more swollen than at any time during pregnancy (and
they were ridiculously big towards the end). Is this normal?
My sister...07 Aug 2004 23:54 GMT9
I am freakishly excited -- my sister called a little while ago to tell
me that she and her husband are expecting their first baby some time
in March.
They just moved to Minnesota, and I'm sad they're so far away, but SO

Baby Quinn just turned 13 weeks old yesterday and over the past couple
weeks he's started adjusting his sleep schedule.  He's going to sleep
sometime around 10:45-11:45PM at night and waking up anywhere around
7-9am to eat, then goes back to sleep until 10-11:30am.  And he's kept ...

Lochia or period?07 Aug 2004 21:19 GMT2
Brittany was born June 25th and so I'm now 6 weeks post partum as of
yesterday. At about 4 weeks, lochia tapered off to pretty much nothing. So
about a week and a half went by of no blood, not red, pink, brownish, etc.
So then about four or so days ago, the bleeding started again. ...

TTC question07 Aug 2004 03:27 GMT6
I have been lurking and occasionally posting on this newsgroup since I was
pregnant with DS#1.  Now we are about to start TTC our third.
I have a quick question though...
If I have a long cycle, (last one was 42 days) when did I most likely
22w5d Follow-up Level 2 Ultrasound Visit07 Aug 2004 02:36 GMT9
Well, we went in for the follow-up level 2 u/s. Because I declined the
amnio, the peri wanted to get a better look at the heart than what he could
get 4 weeks ago. Added bonus was another chance to double check the gender
as I had to trust them last time cause I couldn't see his ...
How can you tell early contractions?06 Aug 2004 17:38 GMT3
This is probably complete and utter paranoia, but I've had a lot of lower
back pain the last few days. Most sites say it's a normal part of pregnancy
(and I have a slight scoliosis, so it's even more expected), but there are a
few which list back pain as a sign of premature labor! ...
Jill and Rachel?06 Aug 2004 17:01 GMT3
I'm wondering if Jill has posted about Rachel lately, and that perhaps
my server has missed the post.  I'm wondering how Rachel is doing with
her spitting up issue.
Exercise and effect on early labor?06 Aug 2004 16:25 GMT5
The threads about weight gain/loss reminded me that I've been meaning
to ask you all about your experience with exercise late in pregnancy.
I have always been a pretty active person.  When I got pregnant, I
didn't really slow down.  My doc said I could do just about anything,
Had first ultrasound today, but possible problem06 Aug 2004 08:52 GMT23
Hello to the group - any advice or experiences would be greatly appreciated!
I went for my first transvaginal ultrasound today - I'm 6w5d after IVF/ICSI
(retrieval was June 18, transfer was June 21).  They saw the yolk sac and
the fetus, but could not see the heartbeat.  They told ...
